  1. Good luck but I will be suprised if it does'nt make nearer or over the £10k mark. Small plots are what people want
  2. Thats been on ebay for ages.
  3. Sounds like bliss to me
  4. I had a rough delivery date for my truck when I ordered it but they forgot to put it on the boat, I had to wait an extra week for it, but it was no biggie.
  5. Actually it's the other way around he will need to worry about, woodlands.co.uk are in a financial position to offer considerably more than the land is guide priced or even market valued at if it meets their criteria, if its a decent sized lot that they can carve up into smaller lots and make money on (ruining it in the process is of no concern to them) Found that out from experience a couple of years ago. My advise would be try to do a deal before the auction if it's something you really want, as you may be dissapointed and amazed at what it can make at auction. I wish you the best of luck with it.
  6. Main trailer is the Ifor LM146 with the bonfig crane fitted, and for soil deliveries the ifor TT3017 tipper, tipper is generally used behind the ranger and the crane trailer only goes behind either of the landies.
  7. the relisted is a fraud for sure, have just reported it
  8. A nice truck but there is no way I would pay that much for a truck that has very little parts availability over here, I suppose some will say "they don't break down" but at some point it will need parts.
  9. Cheaper than a landy at £45-50k ? Dunno what spec landy you are looking at ? They are very nice but that's a lotta money for a pickup truck imo.
  10. it's been ID and bank transfer or cheque for a while around here, however. When I spoke to one of the local scrappies earlier this year he said that because catalytic converters contain precious metals they come under different rules to those here and can still be paid for in cash with no ID, which if true makes a mockery of the whole idea.
  11. I have gas heating and a log burner, I have the heating on for 30 mins early in the morning once it gets really cold so the house is warm then it's the log burner all day and night, if the g/f wants the gas heating on instead of the log burner she can pay for it. but luckily she likes it. My problem is the electric usage we have, the unit outside is electric heating
  12. Is it a green wheel ? if it is I am sure you are aware of the dust issues, although it looks nicely enclosed anyway
  13. I thought building regs needed to be applied for and not 100% sure on this one but the first building inspector visit taken place (ie work officially started and footings dug) for pp not to lapse. I was told renewal is generally a formality and I hope so because mine is soon to run out
  14. I would be interested in this as we had some similar stuff come in last year, it had been standing for a few years was as dry as but smoked like mad, coated the glass in sooty type of crap and stunk like hell outside when it was burning, we threw the whole lot on a big bonfire up the back of the yard in the end. Never could work out what it was neither could a few people I asked, it was also very light even for a softwood.
  15. Don't see why, quite a good idea if you are at someone elses house imo, better than falling on the floor. Although you could just lay them on the floor in the first place
  16. I would expect it to at that price
  17. Several people have suggested I paint it, I will probably blow a few cans of dinitrol over it once it's lost its shine.
  18. I see that the other day (the first link) but is it me or do the wheels not sit right with the wheel arches ?
  19. Not a very clever thing to do on the www imo If he thinks £500 will make someone blagg he may be in for a suprise, I have a £4.5k reward up for my digger and £2k for my trailer on ebay but not a sniff.

  21. Thought I would hare this one with you all. Although it's not finished I am going to start using this one for a bit whilst I get some jobs done on the hicap. I still need to get the body built and get it resprayed as yet, I have decided to go for a flat bed with lockers built into the outside edge of the floor as we only use a 4 foot wide strip in the middle for pallets to sit on, we will be able to store slings, ratchets and such like in them. It's been a lot of work, with everything being rebuilt/reconditioned, sandblasted and repainted but I am pleased with it.
  22. I get way better mpg than that from my 300tdi's but I am pretty steady with them. The later 300tdi's had some basic electrics (from p reg onwards iirc) linking the injector pump to the EGR via a box under the centre seat but you can just unplug the whole lot and run it without any of it connected without any problems. Check for chassis rot, the rear crossmember usually rots away on them at some point, as do the outriggers, give the bulkhead and the bottom of the seat box a decent looking at for rot, general places for bulkhead rot is in the footwells and around the bottom of the screen corners and door pillars, if buying a utility company spec one with the over plated chassis check for rust on the inner chassis underneath where the drain holes are, they have a habit of rotting between the plating and you cant see it very well. 300 tdi's are pretty bulletproof imo but as said they do lack power especially when towing hard, am currently looking into VRT's myself to get more out of them.
  23. We generaly find older customers pick up the YP and the younger ones use the net. I don't spend a huge ammount on it anymore but I won't stop advertising in it because I still get decent returns from it.
  24. Pretty sure you have to pay the finance off if you sell it
  25. You obviously don't live in eggs area
