  1. In settings on the old phone does it not have the option to move all contacts to sim ?
  2. that i would have to see on a wet lawn
  3. I would like to think that even if someone on here said it was you still wouldn't try it
  4. but aren't they are the only days that they build them ?
  5. If it's been that much of a lemon and out of warranty I would be discussing the sale of goods act with the dealer.
  6. I thought they were nearer £4K but maybe that was with the VAT One of my customers has one and as he said it's a handy tool to take a stump out whilst you are on site at the last minute, and just keep it in the toolbox Teeth are quite expensive though and he said you need to have a good clear out around the stump first as they blunt easily. I was considering one when I was doing grinding but thought they were a lot of money for what it is.
  7. The one we looked at would have needed to be powered by a genny and i'm sure it was around the 80kva mark we needed for the saw and carriage, another reason we left it alone. Although I think it may have been a bit bigger than this, was a very long time ago, I remember the pit the bottom wheel was in was huge and so were the blades
  8. I nearly bought something similar (Danckaert iirc) many years ago, that had been used by the railway to cut sleepers. but after looking at it for a while we decided there was just to much of it to haul back, and a lot of concrete and money to set it back up again, the electrics box to start/run the saw and control the system stood higher than me, and it was all a bit daunting. Was a lovely piece of kit though, and build quality was something else.
  9. Terminal rental is £24 + vat a month then there is £10 a month merchant fee but that is written off against card fees ie: if we had no transactions then its £10 but if our percentage fees were £30 for the month we pay £30 not £40 If that makes sense. Again it pays to shop around, I found most terminal rentals were pretty much around the same from most places, but merchant monthly fees varied a lot, but are negotiable. It prints a merchant and customer reciept, it's the same as the ones in shops but multi network mobile
  10. I have a mobile gprs unit that is with cardsave atm but will probably move over to paymentsense as they have offered a slightly better deal at 1.25% on all cards except debit cards which are set at 14p, I am currently at 1.4% and 15p. I looked at the paypal thing and tbh I wouldn't switch to one as I think it looks a bit unprofessional, and for me as most of our trade is on cards it works out cheaper to stay with a proper terminal anyway.
  11. Hi Dean Has that undercarriage been built by yourselves at Global or by Bandit ?
  12. I personaly feel it was the right thing to do. you could start a whole new president by allowing it. and as cadets they would probably have paid their respects at a sunday service.
  13. there and gumtree is full of them aswell
  14. This sadly is no longer the case Some of the diggers i have seen and enquired about lately on ebay are from hijacked high feedback accounts, and they have changed the email address so they don't have to avoid putting the email in the add (which ebay will pull straight away for) They have also been all over the place not just scotland anymore. quite a few now in essex it appears The last few have then texted me to ask if i'm still interested. The general thing to go by now is if it is slightly underpriced then be cautious. and if you buy without viewing you need your head examined. which then brings us onto the matter that if you go view and are not 100% sure it's a legitimate add then take someone with you if you are taking a wad of cash along.
  15. I am sick of the ammount of dodgy adds there are, currently trying to get a replacement for my stolen kh61 but will probably go to a dealer rather than bother trawling the adds and fishing out the fraudulant listings.
  16. Really nice tow trucks, if they still made them I would have a new one without a question.
  17. For towing I use my defenders, as Daniel says, Rangers of a certain few year builds were too high geared, I try not to use my Ranger for towing I just find it too much like hard work especially on slopes, once rolling they are nice tow motors but good luck getting it rolling.
  18. I have an 09 and don't really like it I suppose it depends what you are using it for, as a tow motor it's useless imo, but as a run about to pick up and drop off bits and pieces it's fine, also quite nice to use on long drives as it's fairly comfortable.
  19. As others have done I just welded a pipe in the cats place when mine was pinched, no mot problems as diesels have a smoke test not an emmisions test, although someone had mentioned this was going to change my local tester said it still won't be a problem
  20. I could be wrong but done a bit of research into turkey oak uses a couple of years ago after I had a monster one to clear up, which seamed such a shame to just ring up, If you can actually season without it splitting all over the place it then I have seen some pics of really nice tables made with it, but thats a big if. I personaly thought it made excellent firewood, so did some people who I gave it to try however it rots really quickly, I have some here from nearly 2 years ago that we have been splitting this week and it is already rotting. I read somewhere but can't find it now where a miller said it used to be called "beer barrell wood"
  21. I am currently using about 2 barrow bags a week, that will go up when it gets really cold, so whatever the cost of that would be, I would think it's about £8-10 when it's going full pelt a day if I had to buy them in, if it wasn't free I would definately be using gas as the issue I have is no back boiler so we rely on the fan to blow the heat around the house, which it does very well but the bathroom at the far end of the house can be a bit cold sometimes, so I have a bath after everyone else and by then it has warmed the room up a bit Although I have to go and collect the cord and put petrol in the saws, it's a considerable saving that I am very gratefull of.
  22. Just make sure all your kit is well locked away.
  23. Nice one, really pleased for you and glad I was wrong
  24. I understood that but I meant the replacement solenoid
  25. You would be better not buying the britpart one, if it's anything like the rest of the parts they supply it will be crap, imo of course
