If it helps the bark was a greyish colour and was plated. Should of got photos I know.

Anyone help me to ident this please, I thought maybe a type of elm?, but not sure. Photos aren't great, I was in a bit if a rush. Cheers.

Anyone be able to ident these for me please. The brackets were on the base of a Norway maple. The tree had a lot of deadwood on the canopy, about 65-70%. I've looked through a couple of the books I have and don't recognise it. Any help would be great cheers

So is there anything on in the evening this year?,plus and this is the most important part is Mendip logs Jon staying?.

So we book the site through the pub?.been the last few years and can get around Ina day,thought this year it would be a laugh to stay over.

Just wondering if it's worth staying overnight at the arb show, thinking of doing it this year with some mates. Anyone on here do it last year,is it worth it?.

Why do some trees compartmentalise well and others not?,why is it that willows are poor and acacia is good?. Any help would be brilliant.cheers.
