  1. Interesting more loops to jump through and some more arseholes want a chunk of what we earn. Great
  2. Ha no dont call me lol. Im not one for an 880 up a tree but thought i’d best include it as an example! Otherwise some macho person be along saying about they use an 880 up a tree and a 660 is light as a feather haha lol id go for it. My next 70cc and 90cc will have them
  3. I run a 550xpg as a small day to day domestic saw. Had my heated handles on a few times when ringing up etc any time of the year. All my saws will most likely be heated handles from now on. 2-2.5yrs in they still work.... take a little while to warm up mind im looking after my hands if possible. Couldnt give a monkeys about extra weight on a harness. Only need to be thinking about that if you have to take 660 or god forbid 880 up a tree!
  4. Nice machine that.... for a bigger one we use this but i think its due to be changed soon...
  5. Manitou mate nice machine does it have the load sensor on the arm ours was forever beeping so got the claas for more muscle Yes it was beeping a good bit! Only hired in for the day and to be honest it was peanuts for the day so was really glad we had it!
  6. Yup same here Arbormonkey. Skid steers bo good to me. Amazing lift power on these little teleporters
  7. Love that splitter! Take it its a posch? What model and approx money to buy? Why did you change from the deutz? Farm im on love their deutz
  8. Sounds like good warrenty back up there. Better than my manufacturer dealer who’s favourite saying is “ not sure if it will be covered under warrenty or not” my machines only 18mth old haha
  9. On the flip side, you pull over let people past which i do.... then you pull back out and more people come.... everyones going to work even the tractor driver. Ever heard of..... Number 2 forms the que? Inadequacy to overtake with most people is the issue here. most tractors will run right at the verge round here on national speed limit roads plenty of room to overtake
  10. Ha that is great
  11. How do you find The bandit compared to the 252 considering the 252 grinds a lot deeper.... quite often i have to grind out or dig wheels out to get even deeper with the vermeer... also someone did comment that the bandit drank fuel but that could just be what the 38hp engines do?
  12. I use a short shaft long reach also. Good trimmer and always handy
  13. Hs80 was a good solid trimmer cout take some grief and built like a tank. I have a hs82 seems flimsy but less vibes. Should last with CARE. Handle looks like something out of a christmas cracker though when you look at springs underneath etc
  14. I have a lot less but a lot of oversize. Might look into reducing it and chipping it myself yet
  15. Is 100hp enough when fitted with a loader? Takes a bit off puff out the tractor does a heavy loader esp for road work
  16. I was told chain etc is fine when truck and chipper in view. I.e front garden etc if in rear garden and its not in view it needs a wheel clamp
  17. It doesnt matter how you pay for the vehicle. If its for business use and bought in the business name all is fine. You can do what you want to buy the vehicle, cash, personal loan, business loan, bacs, finance anything. Taking a bank loan out can come out of business account and be put against your tax. not post tax! they may deduct 10% of running costs for personal use
  18. The chipper is chained to the truck & the truck has an immobiliser with the chip in the key. Yes same here but they say both chipper and truck get pinched at same time so requires a wheel clamp
  19. Im same as you. 6 years no claims with them.... terms and conditions changed so not as good of a policy either. Trust are well over 2 grand...
  20. Come on Matty pics of the 6400! also is that a sanderson t2?
  21. It'll be fine reduced but better felled
  22. Yes all in Jest Eggs. Not had much rain up here at all.... a morning piddling down, an evening giving it what for and a little drizzle recently..... We need the rain. Reservoirs are very low round here too. Beck through my garden is nothing but a trickle
  23. Not sure but i’d hosepipe the bugger off at least! Get finger over end of nozzle for a bit of pressure lol Sod the ban
  24. I thought they were dropping the flat rate vat scheme?
  25. Not much help but the tw230 and the other tw run the tensioner on the inside
