  1. Can i get a bigger and stronger tipper pump/ reservoir to replace it then? Its poor!
  2. Mines a scantolinni tipper aswell! was tipping on an incline but transit would have pissed it! 5 stage ram. Struggles with the last ram. today delivering chip on an inclined drive it struggled past ram 3!!! Cheers
  3. Does anyone know if you can change settings on a tipper pump? Oil levels are fine just struggles to tip a full load. Sounds like low oil etc but isnt. It has a decent 5 stage ram aswell! New truck to me and old one was fine. this is the pump : Many thanks Chris
  4. I unfortunately had to replace my vertex vent when one of the lads ran it over with the tracked chipper ordered a new one and its crap compared to the old.... much prefered the adjuster at the back of the head / helmet not the 2 crappy wheels one at either front side to keep it tight to your head! had the helmet a good while now though
  5. Easier on the 2.4 Bob eggs will be a 2.0 or 2.2 in a normal van so engine the other way = ball ache! i did mine a few years back on my transit tipper and just whipped front end off like you say
  6. Big Oak Stump from the other week. Had a digger in to help with the arisings and got 10t of soil in after to re structure the area like the client wanted. In the centre part there will be a nice wide grand staircase going in
  7. Ok many thanks for that. I hope to have a letter through the post soon.... Will the chassis be changed even if not showing any current cracks etc? As would still have the potential to as you have flagged the issue up? I can just see the dealer trying to fob us off on this issue
  8. Shouldnt they all be re called? Not just IF requires a recall? what happens a couple of years down the line when they crack out of warrenty?
  9. Still haven't had chance to drop the saw back in to dealers yet.... Was going to ring them today to oin them but bank hol lol will ring them tomorrow... Call me backwards but i'll be on the look out for some older very clean 2012-2013 saw etc..... my older 2012 saw is spot on! hate this new saw piece of crap
  10. Ohh i like that cut then split larger rings with wedge and hammer! Saves all the sawdust noodles! good video cheers
  11. Usually 10% on ebay and 4% paypal of the whole total....
  12. Hope that fixes it.... they can do it under warrenty as far as im concerned aswell!
  13. Mines the same been and had a new plug in but sick of it. Prefer my older non m tronic saw bever had any issues other than fuel tank breathers leaking!
  14. You would but it still depends on ground conditions. Ive just dragged my fully loaded 16’ grain trailer full of beech through a few fields today! Shame job couldn’t have waited for nicer weather for ground to dry up a bit! Few ruts left lol
  15. Never heard anything about porus liners on them personally
  16. You looked at case ih 885,895 xl?
  17. What’s your budget?
  18. Lift pump was dicking about put a fresh one on and every now and again machine would splutter and miss and die off.... unless you pumped the priming plunger.... we had to fit a new filter housing and it came with a plunger housing. flushed tank out and fitted new lines. Wasnt keen on the new lift pump. Fuel would seep back over night youd have to pump it up again in a morning. Fuel pipe had a split in it on site the other day so maybe this pin hole has been giving me greif all along till it let go? Anyhow bought an electric pump to fit instead as plenty of room and easy enough. Leave lift pump on but disconnected. If 12v pump ever konked out i could just put pipes on lift pump and away i go again
  19. Im wanting to fit a 12v pump to my jensen a530t. I have the pump. Will be looking for an ignition live, is this correct? is it an ignition live that activates the fuel cut off lever? Holds it out whilst running then lets it go to stop fuel when shut off? If so can i scotch lock into this? Or will it be too much for the wire? many thanks
  20. Mono bolt rivets.... will have a look. My alloy planks came the ither day just waiting on sorting a day with my favricator man to start sorting tool box then build up chip box
  21. Who are you with? that sounds rubbish cover!
  22. Cheers for that Richy will ring them tomorrow. That a mk6 transit?
  23. You got any pics richy? Hard to imagine from words
  24. Was hoping to get some channel to drop the alloy planking into? bolt it to the bed of the truck and up the pillars. Then drop the planking in.... hope this is feasible?
  25. Champion. Need to ring them and get dimensions etc of the planking then get some ordered! No point messing around as want new truck on road cheers
