hi there, i've got a 2001 cabstar same 2.7td engine. just come to replace glow plugs and one snapped in the head! bummer, so got the head off now and its off to the engineers. mine gross 3.2 ton and train weight is 5.5 ton debating wether to keep or get shut yet...

just spotted a chap selling one on ebay, brand new in box, selling for his mate..... but its his mates brother who's a tree surgeon.... sounds like a load of codswallop but he wants 400 quid, maybe a little less.... it sound dodgy? does a little but its still a saving? or stay away?

was looking to do that, but i don't think there'll be any 200t's below the 400 mark at the show will there?

just pricing up etc i could get away with spending 80 quid on my saw to get it sorted.... or still to buy new? the above 80 quid would consist of, new piston, crank seals new 14" bar (stihl) and chain what to do?

Recently my 200t has decided to play up approx 5 years old now out of action I have an older 020t which seems ok and still earns money for me (also one other 020t that's a runner and seems ok and another that runs but is for spares) Just wondering whether to plod on with the 020t's or due to the fact they are the tool that gets used the most, buy a new one at the Apf show that's going to last some years and be reliable and flog off the others?? hmmmmmmm??

there needs to be a small gap between the coil and flywheel all your contact points need to be as clean as possible, the flywheel area needs to be nice and clean, the pick ups on the coil also, check ht lead secure in the coil, check good fit from ht lead to the plug top

Tbh i've been holding off putting this thread up for a while, i know there are a lot of people that seem to be going into this of late, this will not be a lonely hearts thread where i tell you all there is to know about me lol Just asking to find out whats the best way for anyone to make a start in the industry, anyone thats keen and eager to learn Not soley just aimed at advice on training but advice on jobs etc and how to approach etc

the other way around bud, just done them, its 645.00 for the cs 30/31 then 485 for the cs 38 then 320 for the cs 39 there the price's where i'm doing my courses anyways
