  1. Mines a full fat tracked machine seen some with a piece of angle iron on the chassis to mount the spring straight up to the roller

  5. Dont you mean just the one spring? Is yours a spring and cable with rollers or just a spring up to the top roller? Cheers. mines the spring and cable. Didnt realise the springs need changine at certain hours. My jensen been to the moon and back so mighr be a good idea to change the spring and get a right cable lol also where do you get your spares from / the parts? Cheers

  7. Is that a 12x6 Josh? How do you find the trailer? Is it the newer style with an ally floor? Will be looking into a 10x5 for extra capacity on jobs soon. Been offered my mates 12x6 but its old style and weighs 1300kg empty he says. Thats before i put sides on it

  9. Just get some prices in then ask of the quality and of opinions then. I put some new alliance on front of my tractor and some good part worn uniroyal on rear. If i had more spare when i did them id have gone for new bkt all round. Probs 2300.00 then
  10. Forestry or agg? your old tyres will be worth something also to bear in mind lot of folk fitting bkt round here bit softer on sidewalls so run higher pressures for hauling. Decent budget type tyres
  11. Arnt some of them 36mph also? Used to work with a firm that had one and a roof mount crane

  14. Has anyone used the new simarghu fire harness? Doesnt look much difference to the TM. want a change from TM now. Had a full fat Tm harness before and was ok. Got a TM light now and not keen. Im after something with a bit more comfort and im a skinny frame and want some padding / comfort around hips and dont want them bungies twanging my arse all the time like on the TM lol any suggestions? will look at the thread title harness

  17. The chipper is classed as a tool for work. It clearly says under 7.5t. And driving is not main observation, within 100km from base

  21. Im sure you can as its plant and a tool for work. Tacho comes into it when hauling goods i.e logs, chip etc thats my take on it
  22. I thought it was meant asin working day affected by driver hours?
  23. Surely working hours only applies to those whom drive as their main job. Cant see how its different from driving a 3.5t to site then back after work. Driving is not main occupation.
