  1. Well Swinny, I took your advice and I have ordered the 365 x-torq with an 18” bar, and got the 4 extra chains deal from FR Jones & Son. I believe it is 70.1cc so can run a larger bar as & when required. Thank’s very much everyone for your input. Stay Safe.
  2. Thank you, to everyone for taking their time to reply and for the advice, I’ll let you know what I opt for.
  3. Yeah, I’d seen that reference to ‘farm boss’. I’m looking to spend £5-£600, and do love Stihl. I expect it will only be running for about 4-8 hours per week (on average), in the main will be used on Beech, largest being about 3’ diameter hence a 20” Bar. Deal’s not done yet, so happy to look at suggestions, but I don’t think I could move away from the Stihl.
  4. Views please on Stihl MS391 chainsaw. I’ll be a casual user, but looking for something with a bit of grunt and a 20” Bar. I have used a Stihl previously and was seriously impressed with it, I fancied this model for no other reason than it fits price range and has a bit more power, but whilst doing my research I’ve seen some terrible reviews (but they were dated) and wanted to seek the views of any professionals who may have purchased this model in the last 12 months.
  5. Any of you Arborist’s having a New Year sort and clear out, I’m looking for a traditional two man saw, anywhere between 6-8 foot, must be in good working order with its handles. If you can package to protect for transport I can arrange a courier collection. Please either comment or PM me, I’m looking for images, a candid description of condition, and of course how much ££££ you want for it? Thank you in advance, Ian
