  1. We found this one a few years back. It definitely wasn't photoshopped if that's the one you were referring to. I wouldn't know where to start or be bothered doing it!
  2. I went passed the duck a few weeks back. I was only on the road cos I didn't know any tracks round there. Fortunately they had some Hawkshead great white on tap too.
  3. Have you used this for work positioning for a fair bit of climbing/work or just for a quick redirect to get one branch and then come back in. I think it looks great and was going to try it yesterday but could have been on it for a good 2hrs so thought I'd better just check what kind of stuff you have put it through so far.
  4. And from the same web site... http://theawesomedaily.com/gabriel-schama-geometric-wood-sculptures/
  5. What hitch and length of cord have you got with that. I want to get some volcano soon.
  6. Have a look at the navigon app. I've had it for years on iPhone. £60 +£20 for all of Europe. Updates are free and it works really well and easy to use.
  7. The only issue I see is that you can't swap your lanyard from side D's to the lower D's for if its being used for your primary support. I use a treemotion so do this quite often.
  8. Is the throttle slipping a bit. Is it on full wack?
  9. Yep. Looking forward to the m tronic 201. That will probably set husky back by at least 5 yrs. 😂
  10. Because of the chain coming off and cutting through the stupidly thin and flimsy side of the oil tank, I might just have one which I would be delighted to drive over to show how strong the 201 is compared. I bet my mountain bike would smash a 540 to a bag of crushed wotsits!!
  11. Yes, over a yr now. Absolutely great bit of kit. After butchering my zigzag1 and adding it to a hitch climber I have often wanted to add the ZZ bit to the HH. That could be good but I am concerned about side loading the zigs on the ZZ when against a branch or whatever. Same applies to the positioner added to the HH though. It has made me like rope again after going all metal for quite a few yrs.
  12. I think the spiderjack would pull to one side. I think it's off set but the positioner is in line. I wasn't keen on my positioner because it doesn't release and slide smoothly. More like jerks. It looks like he's put the longer handle of the spiderjack onto the positioner hasn't he? I'll definitely be giving this a go with my HH though.
  13. Ah cheers I see now. Unfortunately a job I might need to do soon.
  14. Is it the top roller? If it is, make sure you keep cleaning out the crap that builds up between the roller and the bearing. Unfortunately there is a gap that gets filled when doing conifer, laurel and holly mainly I find. It builds up into a hard compressed lump around the shaft and puts wear on the side of the bearing race and once knackered, the bearing case will soon wear a groove onto the shaft. Mine squeals like mad when it's pretty caked up. It's worth the 10-15 minutes to stop and clear it out.
  15. And do they have a dumper ticket? 😜
  16. Ok. I'm a bit closer to understanding😁
  17. Can anybody explain the legalities and practicalities of using a tacho. I realise this is often misinterpreted and I am aware of the basic requirements and exemptions etc. What happens if I got a tacho fitted to my 3.5t truck which normally pulls a chipper/trailer combo, within 50km radius (therefore no need for tacho) but have a tacho fitted so that I can pull a trailer of chip or logs on occasional times. Once fitted, does the tacho have to be used ALL of the time or can it just be ignored for the occasions that it is exempt. Or, is it just easier to use it all the time now that they are digital, as we will never have an issue with driving hrs in our working day. Hope that all made sense and someone has a nice simple answer. 😊
  18. It's around £50+VAT for the fuel tank part. Pretty much dismantle the whole saw and rebuild but not too bad. Took me about 1 hour taking lots of photos as I went along. I've still got the pics if you are interested.
  19. I haven't added trailers to the list on arbsafe. Thanks
  20. Are the cables running freely. My Ifor had a sticking wheel and needed new cables as they had corroded somewhere down the line. Obviously enough weight in the trailer to put brakes on but sticking too much to release.
  21. What device are you using on your side strop?
  22. I think if you've never had an iPhone, you are probably better staying with android. Maybe.... I've had several iPhones ever since the first one came out. I now obviously use iTunes and all the apps etc that I've accumulated over the years and would find it hard to move away. Last time I renewed phone I was seriously considering an S4 because apparently you can use an app to be able to use iTunes. But I stuck with Apple cos I can't be arsed with the change. Plus I do like apple stuff. But I admit it might not be as good as some of the android stuff. Plus, android stuff is a whole lot cheaper!!
  23. If the ripples create a greater surface area, then they should dry quicker. Surely you could then lower the price! 😬
  24. Full length zip means you already have access to pockets and obviously go on and off easier. I agree about berghaus deluge being the best in terms of simple and straight forward and cheap.
