  1. But do we still need to watch over our sarnies in future? How serious athreat is it?
  2. I have 2. T14EES and T14UNK Bit daft but theyre only fun
  3. Totally agree, but I was just thinking about not getting up too early to change all that and just nip it up to get on with the days work. Then sort at the weekend.
  4. I would definitely check the pump's belt tension first before getting messy with oil. Mine was really slack and hadnt noticed for ages until the power dropped.
  5. I heard some time ago that it stains the heart wood a lovely dark brown and if caught at the right time (before decay I assume) it can ten fold the value. Don't think it matters if you fell first or eat later, whatever...
  6. preferably an old willans t22 with a nice seat to stop the twigs poking up too hard!
  7. Log Heights is a great laugh. Did you have a go?
  8. definitely hope I'm still climbing trees, hopefully teaching my 9 1/2 yr old (boy or girl)!!!
  9. Is that thornhill rd dean? Think I took down that hung up Pop coming out the roof of your chip box.
  10. It always takes a while to get it into the groundies heads when arriving at a job... take the expensive stuff round the back first, not a rake and a shovel.
  11. Its a real shame pete didnt have the helmet cam on for his tree bashing 15 times spinny trick, although the camera might not have stayed on with all that g-force!
  12. It was a 16m Italmec but not at all complicated. little bubble to make central and thats it. Was quite impressed with performance at first but soon got fed up with lack of reach. you always want/need to go that bit further and its way too tempting to stand on cage and lean out. Would love to come to FUN w/end but not sure about dates yet. is it next week? might be in for it
  13. Beaver Plant. He's not keen on mewps now though. Had his fingers burnt good and proper a few times now. Mine not included I might ad. He wasnt that bothered cos it was minimum.
  14. It was very easily done, just a quick tweek and time stood still. i watched it just go off balance but didnt react quickly enough. a quick tweek the other way and it would have been a close shave. as mentioned, it was the end of the day, traffic sign guys wanted to get cleared up and the lads wanted to go home. so did I and was rushing a bit and FORGOT to put legs out!! Doh! Damage was minimum. Bent the basket a bit. Fortunately, the plant firm had just recently employed an ex panel beater and they had the means/skills to sort it out. cost me about £200 for labour. Not bad I thought. Good firm though and the guy is very laid back and reasonable.
  15. Dean, I am assuming that said MEWP tipping over by local tree surgeon was me. Just up from your place? What a fun end to the day that was. Good job the farmers a good guy!
  16. I'd bet there's going to be a new 3G iPhone out soon. that'll do the trick.
