  1. Yep I suppose beech can be included too. Maybe 3 ropes needed then. 😳
  2. I think the average washing machine is only supposed to have a load of 8kg. Assuming this is to do with its ability to spin it at 1600rpm my opinion was that a wet 45m rope would be on the heavy side. I have done it but I won't be doing it anymore. As above, a wet climb will clean the rope. A rinse on a bin will help and obviously drying will take a while. It's handy to have two ropes. Or use someone else's washer. I think the laundrette idea, rope in a pillow case is the best idea 😃
  3. Not on site in the middle of a field. Cable ties are a luxury.
  4. I thought the bar was acting like a rod. Pushing and pulling the lever on the pump. I don't know. Maybe Andy Treequip will know. I think he had a machine a bit older than mine. I'm sure he's probably seen one anyway. When my cable snapped on site we had some mole grips to save the day. Maybe a useful bodge if you need to crack on tomorrow.
  5. Mmm. Not sure at all. To throttle off, which direction would that bodged bar move. Towards the camera?
  6. The cable on mine was pretty long, more than I thought it needed. It runs all the way over to the left of pic, by the air filter/pipe and then to the front again to the pump. Your pump looks like its 90* counter clockwise to mine so maybe the cable will come in at the right direction. Is that a metal bar attached in your pic.
  7. Not sure what yr mine is. I think 2006. Don't know anything about different models/ages. This photo was with throttle off by the way just to avoid confusion.
  8. Thought if do them now before I forgot. Will these do?
  9. I can do one in the morning if that's ok.
  10. Yes I think that has been mentioned before.😉 hope you like it anyway.
  11. Not lolered bob cos I didn't use it for long enough. And ££ wise... It's gone as of Monday.
  12. You can buy mine if you like. I don't use it any more. It's not been used much.
  13. Isn't if normally measured in cubic metres and not by weight which has obviously got a lot of discrepancies itself. I'm not trying to be pedantic but it just seemed to stand out as soon as I read it.
  14. Yes true. Auto tune would be good. I still might sell the 540 though.
  15. I'm very tempted to sell 540 after only a few months. I'd much prefer a new 201. Especially if the new ones with the upgraded bits on are an improvement. My 2011 201t has been pretty good really. The 540 annoys me every time I use it.
  16. Thanks. I remember googling something like that last time but couldn't find it but I've got it now. Cheers I'll give them a ring.
  17. Just got a light sensing door opener and been playing with the settings to get it just right. Can you remember what lux levels you've got it set at. Mine doesn't seem to be closing any earlier when I change the light levels (considerably)
  18. Thanks. I forgot to say that I'm in his area ish so would be handy for me. Although an excuse to go to hawkshead brewery is always welcome but it means going in the truck. 😄
  19. Where did you get the tarp/roof made up. I saw it in another thread and I've been meaning to ask for ages.
  20. Maybe stretch to at least one carabiner though
  21. I don't think we can all fit in one. Might get a bit smelly
