  1. I would probably have a punt at it myself but parts availability appears to be an issue when I was looking at them.
  2. Not UK registered and has 414k km on the clock
  3. Land cruiser pick up those plates certainly aren't British though Phone numbers tally with a website of the same name
  4. I use a low wattage electric fan to push the heat out of the room, works very well, I would use an ecofan but don't have room above the fire for one.
  5. I have had them and still use it but went back to BT. I originally used BT and call divert to a mobile but that's a really expensive way to do it, so went with vodafone one-net, which was £66.00 a month inc vat with unlimited calls, texts and 1GB data, however the sevice started to get really bad a couple of years in and it went down completely for nearly 2 days at one point, we lost a lot of business with it and didn't realise until regular customers started saying they have had trouble getting through. So decided to go back to BT, but now if you take a BT mobile aswell all diverted calls are free, yes it costs a bit more but at least if there is a network problem we still have a physical landline.
  6. 15 year old machine, personally I would change the hydraulic oil and filter for peace of mind.
  7. Even if you hadn't won it he would have probably contacted you to say the winner had backed out, it's the usual thing.
  8. Ouch! not a friendly one then I wish I had gone into milling when I had a chance 25 years ago
  9. That's pretty bad luck. I would be having words with the seller to try get them to contribute towards the cost. I know bugger all about greenmech but. Looks like a standard UCC filter housing, and I would think it's a standard make axle and running gear, I would be surprised if they were making their own. For the filter housing try flowfit, you may need to speak to their tech dept to cross reference it as I don't think they do UCC, but any hydraulic shop should be able to get it if not. For the axle try get a name off it or if it's suspension units unbolt the good side and run it into your local indespension or trailer shop, or measure the mountings and work it out from there on indespensions website.
  10. It's a land rover, they are virtually undrivable empty mine carries the weight well but it has +2" HD springs and assister springs inside, hard as rock though.
  11. Most but not all 130's are 3500kg there is the odd one at 3050kg for some reason, so pays to check the plate under the bonnet, they should all be plated to tow 3500kg. My 130 with ally dropside and steel subframe can carry 1400kg iirc
  12. I have seriously considered them but then I put my sensible head on and forget the idea. Pants towing capacity of 2200kg is the killer for me, and some parts are not available unless you manage to get second hand. But without a doubt they are a nice looking bit of kit.
  13. Comes in 20 different colours
  14. I hate to see people use them before laying turf to help prep, but after it's laid is a definate no no imo
  15. I asked for that one But I think you know what I meant
  16. Perhaps you should take this up with whoever supplied and fitted the tyres ? You done well to get away without a fine, but still a pita. To add to this Essex police apparently now have a dedicated vehicle on the road for pulling trailers. Vosa are apparently having a new office/weighbridge built by the new Col utd football ground, nice and convenient for the A12 Just to make life a little more interesting
  17. Might be worth a look in the service metals book, possible that it could have been built using standard profiles, which will save costs.
  18. So you have no insurance until someone has threatened you ? Not a very clever thing to do imo NFU would be a good starting point if you only leafleted 40 houses it should be pretty easy to narrow it down if it's someone who don't like competition I would have thought. What on earth is wrong with people nowadays
  19. I reported a phishing auction the other day, very cleverly done, the auction page forwarded to a very good fake page, that bypassed their contact system. I reported it and the tard on live help couldn't understand what was wrong with it it wasn't removed for several days Yahoo auctions was much better and I had some real good bargains off it.
  20. The new Dodge Ram Dually 4x4 with Cummins has a kerbweight of 3560kg In 4x2 Cummins it's 3380kg There is a big difference (nearly half a ton) between the diesel and petrol weight. I don't know about the Ford's as they didn't interest me due to the fuel economy of the powerstroke diesels, but someone I know had a 2500 Ram with 5.9 Cummins and it was pretty much built like a lorry with a pickup cab, but 300+HP was appealing
