  1. Rob at MCA Kingstone is good to deal with, we have some of our bulk soil bags from him and the quality is better than some of the others we have used.
  2. I looked into it quite deeply a few years ago and came to the conclusion they are ok if you want a posing truck and didn't want to put anything heavy in the back, or you are going to be using it purely for towing. If you are using it for business it opened a minefield of plating, O licence and tacho issues, in the main due to them being built like tanks and being close to 3500kg empty, especially the 350 and 3500 models from various manufacturers.
  3. I'm sure we could send you up plenty of landfill to help out
  4. Not a very clever or ethical way to do business. I hope you get your money back.
  5. Did I miss something ? What have they charged you £277 for ?
  6. Quick pressure wash and a bit of Tcut and your sorted My first non moped was an RD250 that had been stolen and dumped in the river.
  7. If you are applying for a patent then it's best not to discuss the product with anyone else except your patent agent first. I remember something about if it had been discussed openly you can't patent it, or something like that. When you read a well written patent application you can see how they earn their money.
  8. Probably see them out the front of his house for sale next week at £4 a bag
  9. That fireplace is larger than my living room Very nice
  10. It can be a very expensive game, I had one on a touring caravan accessory many years ago. A good patent agent will be expensive but worth the money, however why patent if you aren't going to produce. Mine cost enough but someone I know done one in the late 70's and it cost him over £20K Things can also get dearer if someone challenges your patent, someone challenged mine but it was thrown out as it wasn't even a remotely similar idea. It can take a while to get one but some of that is the waiting for objections time that is allowed.
  11. If you buy from outside EU on ebay and pay the $135.69 import charges in the listing it covers duty which is 1.7%, VAT and broker fees, there should be nothing else to pay. We have brought quite a few bits of kit and parts in from America and Canada and have very little trouble.
  12. Looks good but I have yet to see many logs like that in your average log delivery I would dread to think what that would look like with what I have We have a nice traditional feel with one of these
  13. Not stupid just have total faith in what they ride and those who set them up and incredible riding skill. And balls so big it's a wonder they can get on the seat
  14. I tried selling one of my motorbikes on gumtree, I have never had so many dodgy texts from people who can't come and see it but will send a courier to collect it. Ebay have got a bit pricey though, they did have a cap of £40 max on auctions but that is now gone.
  15. would they not take it at birch airfield compost site ?
  16. In my ebay next to the item there will be an option, I think it's now called dispute resolution or non paying bidder. Ebay is full of wasters but have also met the occasional really nice person. One thing I have found when selling machinery on there is a lot of exporters buy then try bidding you down when they come to collect.
  17. Cash on collection, just be sure to check for fake notes.
  18. Remind me to give you that tenner for the other day when I see you mate
  19. Maybe a slight price rise would put things right ?
  20. Well stop whining and get shot Jees if I was him and saw this I would tell you to stick the job up your arse
  21. For me, the supply side of things has changed from being booked a week to 3 weeks in advance for delivery to being next day, we rarely get more than a few days at most. How peoples expectations have changed.
  22. Are you sure that's under 750kg ? Looks like a well built piece of kit and will give the others a run for their money
  23. Maybe the problem is the teacher ? I know personally I am rubbish at teaching people what to me I consider to be simple things.
