  1. I bet that gets pulled by ebay soon
  2. Looks like the saw is going to be busy, nice one .
  3. I would have thought getting a consistant moisture content would be a problem.
  4. Someone I know who fits cranes does extra services for rotator and grab, depending on how many extensions the crane has it can get quite involved and expensive all that pipe has to go somewhere out of the way when the boom is in, that's without adding in what it will need valve block wise. If it was me I would be looking for one with it already fitted as it generally doesn't add a huge amount to the s/h crane price, and will look a lot neater as a factory fit.
  5. I must be a Jonah then One of our new Ford's spent nearly 6 weeks of it's first six months in the dealers workshop A new Hilux ate a transfer box in the first week And I know it's not work related but my new Triumph has been at the dealers longer than it's been in my workshop with what I have since found out is an inherent problem. I have had other new kit that has been bad quality and needed going back to the manufacturers for repair or replacement. So yes thinking about it perhaps I am a Jonah
  6. Funny to see how peoples opinions differ. Personally I would rather do with what I have than borrow, newer doesn't mean better, and no one can guarantee work may be good for the next 2 or 3 years, what if things go slack ?
  7. If it's still like it was then it's huge, they have several auctions running at the same time, and it's a long day. Good place if you like to see some pretty smart looking low loaders though
  8. I went a few times many years ago. Far too big an auction with far too many people for my liking.
  9. Google check for fraud clicks using several methods, not just IP address, if several clicks are done from the same IP within a short space of time it will count as one click, after a few hours it will count as two. I think their fraud detection has got better over the last few years. Do your homework on detecting fraudulent clicks yourself before using adwords would be my advice. Click fraud can be very costly.
  10. That is a very nice tidy unit, would like to have had the sides on mine but needed to cut as much weight as possible, so just kept the tailgate for advertising space.
  11. Officially 1000kg at 3.2mtrs but it can go way over than that before it's safety relief kicks in. Full out is supposed to be 520kg at 6.2mtrs but again it can do more without trouble. I would be completely lost without it now.
  12. One of the caravans I bought came with one, i'm sure it was a shifta . I tried it just to see what it was like and was impressed, 750kg of a chipper I doubt would be an issue, the van we used it on was just under 2000kg a twin axle and managed it without too much trouble, including some pretty sharp turns on a loose surface, but painfully slow. I'm sure there is a thread on here a while back about caravan movers on chippers.
  13. Haha I just realised they have got the same initials I meant Ben not Brian Looks like it is yard at Capel
  14. Is that BW's place ?
  15. Thanks for the advice. I have more than enough uses for what I will cut around the yard and farm. I had thought about an alaskan but from what I have seen they look like hard work, I assume hence the winch ?
  16. Just a warning for anyone that was a Cardsave Streamline customer. When you recieve the new contract with Worldpay there are a couple of changes you might want to consider. The 12 month rolling contract is being increased to 18 month and there is a collection fee of the terminal of £125 + VAT even if you are coming out of contract, there may be other bits but that is enough for me to move. You have 60 days to cancel your existing contract with them without penalty if you don't agree to the new terms. I have just had another chat with Sagepay and am going to move to them.
  17. It is indeed. They are quite helpful.
  18. Have you tried in westbrooms ?
  19. Well after toiling with it for the last few years I want to bite the bullet and buy a mill, I occasionally get the chance to collect the odd butt, and could probably get more but I hate cutting some of them up for firewood. without going on I know it will probably not be financially viable, but I can always use the timber myself around here, and it's just something I want to do. Going through all the choices, I think a lucas or peterson will probably be my best option, however if I could find a decent trailered bandmill I would give it thought. So if anyone has one they are thinking of getting rid of, or know of someone who is send me a PM please.
  20. I have yet to meet a butcher who can supply meat as bad in quality as Tesco.
  21. When ours went pear shaped they put a divert on to one of our mobiles within 2 hours.
  22. Depends if it's registered as a business line, I would imagine it isn't as BT business have deadlines for repair of business lines, the more you pay on line rental the quicker it's fixed, ours is next day at the latest. I am happy to pay the extra for a business line as it can work out expensive when your phone isn't working.
  23. As much as I detest them and don't use them they employ a huge amount of people and I would hate to see those people out of a job.
  24. Home page title needs "home" removing felling/thining has a missing image firewood specials has "Don\\t delay " With mobiles being widely used now for browsing and ordering online I would have thought a responsive design would have been better It looks good though.
  25. If it's a Combi 33kw it should run a shower without any problems at all unless it has a lot of head to get to the shower, but with good pressure that shouldn't be a problem. We had a pumped power shower and changed to a combi boiler, all we had to do was replace the control unit with a non pumped one and alter the pipework, we didn't expect it to be brilliant but it works nearly as good as the pumped system, and that is with a 30kw system. You will need some sort of controller though to keep temp constant.
