  1. Interesting thread. I don't like to stop for long for lunch and usually round off the bill down to allow for a quick sarnie and cuppa. I remember one woman who kept bringing cups of tea, which was very nice, but each stop for tea would involve her nattering for 45mins (no joke!). I think one tea break was well over an hour Now I like a blether, but after spending half the day not actually working you feel like you can't charge for a full day, so I knocked a wee bit off, and she was delighted!
  2. If you're stuck the filling station in Muir of Ord has a red diesel pump
  3. The large domed washer on the far left in the photo should also be used with the blade
  4. The "deposit" isn't actually a deposit, it's the fee for using shiply, they keep it either way.
  5. They are a really good saw, wouldn't sell mine no matter what you offered. I can't imagine many come up for sale, why would you, unless it was knackered or nicked? Have you tried asking at Macgregor's in Inverness? Just incase they know of any customers who might sell
  6. Husqvarna Automower?
  7. Have never used one but seen Kellfri make them, https://www.kellfri.co.uk/forest-firewood/forestry-equipment Dunno if any good or not!
  8. The real problem is the landlord ditched going to a wedding with his wife so he could fell this tree.....

    Ox truck

I remember seeing this in the news a couple years ago, it was on the news again today Looks cool F1 engineer makes 'first flat-pack truck' - BBC News OX Global Vehicle Trust • All terrain mobility for all I want one! [ame] [/ame]
  10. But if you had gone to the wedding with a pocket full of business cards think of all the work you could've got!
  11. Found this on youtube, wow, what a beast [ame] [/ame]
  12. Don't know if it's true but have heard the vibrations from transport can cause digger arm hydraulics to rise (through non return valves) if they're not secured properly?
  13. I got a set of the 3 leg adjustable this year, think they came from Northern Arb supplies. They get sent out direct from the importer Workware, the packaging is a let down - plastic bag!! Very sturdy when you're up them, a real godsend, but the alloy it's made out of seems quite flimsy, you defiantly don't want to lend these to anyone The things only rated to 100kg aswell
  14. Hitachi here, made in Japan
  15. Hundreds of them out there, this guy wasn't far off being squashed [ame] [/ame]
  16. Find contact information You can request another member's contact information if you've been involved in a transaction with them recently eBay Search: Advanced Search Unfortunately there seems to be lots of timewasters on ebay! You can't force them to sell if they don't want to!
  17. It's about 200kg! So not something you want to be lifting
  18. [ame] [/ame] Worth it just for the music
  19. I've got it the other way round at the minute, 2 weeks ago won a machine for collection only, and then the guy emails to say he's away and will phone when he's back on the 24th. Not heard anything yet, and have the cash here burning a hole in my pocket!
  20. It's probably too far for you, but might know a place for it, 16 miles north of the Kessock Bridge
  21. Yes sounds like clutch, should be easy enough to fix I bought the 53cc stiga strimmer a few weeks back, it seems alright. The auto feed head it comes with is no use as it wears through the line at the eyelet. Also the guard and line trimmer knife don't allow you to run a very long line, considering the size of the machine
  22. You need a tractor funnel, those spouts are no use
  23. I prefer the plastic visors as it keeps more of the mashed up slugs etc out, and I wear glasses so safety specs are no use. You can get replacement polycarbonate dead cheap on ebay, few quid, just change it once or twice a year

    Flailing

    Atleast double!
  25. Why does it have to be a ride on? Walk behind no use?
