  1. Found this on youtube, wow, what a beast [ame] [/ame]
  2. Don't know if it's true but have heard the vibrations from transport can cause digger arm hydraulics to rise (through non return valves) if they're not secured properly?
  3. I got a set of the 3 leg adjustable this year, think they came from Northern Arb supplies. They get sent out direct from the importer Workware, the packaging is a let down - plastic bag!! Very sturdy when you're up them, a real godsend, but the alloy it's made out of seems quite flimsy, you defiantly don't want to lend these to anyone The things only rated to 100kg aswell
  4. Hitachi here, made in Japan
  5. Hundreds of them out there, this guy wasn't far off being squashed [ame] [/ame]
  6. Find contact information You can request another member's contact information if you've been involved in a transaction with them recently eBay Search: Advanced Search Unfortunately there seems to be lots of timewasters on ebay! You can't force them to sell if they don't want to!
  7. It's about 200kg! So not something you want to be lifting
  8. [ame] [/ame] Worth it just for the music
  9. I've got it the other way round at the minute, 2 weeks ago won a machine for collection only, and then the guy emails to say he's away and will phone when he's back on the 24th. Not heard anything yet, and have the cash here burning a hole in my pocket!
  10. It's probably too far for you, but might know a place for it, 16 miles north of the Kessock Bridge
  11. Yes sounds like clutch, should be easy enough to fix I bought the 53cc stiga strimmer a few weeks back, it seems alright. The auto feed head it comes with is no use as it wears through the line at the eyelet. Also the guard and line trimmer knife don't allow you to run a very long line, considering the size of the machine
  12. You need a tractor funnel, those spouts are no use
  13. I prefer the plastic visors as it keeps more of the mashed up slugs etc out, and I wear glasses so safety specs are no use. You can get replacement polycarbonate dead cheap on ebay, few quid, just change it once or twice a year

    Flailing

    Atleast double!
  15. Why does it have to be a ride on? Walk behind no use?
  16. I would say forget the B&Q shed, tell him to get one from a local sawmill/shed builder - you get what you pay for
  17. Just to bump an old thread, did anyone here get a Stiga strimmer, and how are they getting on?
  18. Looks like 12mm gravel? In which case it would make the hedge 3472mm high by the looks of it
  19. Cheers, I hope it will outlast me! The posts are old electricity poles. Started out with 4 poles at about 9m long, and cut them in half (well just over/under) to make 8 posts. All the other timber is Larch from the local sawmill - apart from 6 rogue lengths of Douglas Fir! The cladding is 2nd grade boards, 6" wide, 1" gap. The size was mainly determined by the materials - the 8 poles, 16ft lengths of timber, 2ft wide roof sheets, and the need to get the dumper with roll bar in.
  20. Finally today got this shed finished, happy days! Just need to fill it now (and fit a gutter before the end of summer)
  21. Liked this, monkey puzzle for sale at offers over £1,000 https://www.gumtree.com/p/plants-flowers/monkey-puzzle-tree/1171752761 Buyer to remove!
  22. And don't forget you can sell the foliage to florists!!
  23. https://www.gumtree.com/p/lawn-mowers/lawn-mower-for-sale/1169926403 I'll have what he's having!!
  24. It's 8mm cable, in a tirfor type winch
  25. Was bored so had a go at making a DIY a zip wire/death slide Getting a bit dark in the video, this was just before I took it down The brake was 2 car tyres which worked, although a bit brutal [ame] [/ame] :thumbup1:
