  1. I miss his posts- very calm, considered, interesting and intelligent
  2. I’m not on fb either but link opens fine
  3. Very talented, but I don’t think that one translates well onto piano. Just my opinion of course. prefer 2cellos which works really well
  4. I have 360 which has been brilliant but not without it’s problems. Exhaust shook itself to bits (kohler engine) and the brake arrangement is poor at best - I always keep at least two spare cables with me. was very tempted by the fsi but shame they don’t use a bigger engine around 25hp or so. I picked up a used hb20 but have only used it once so far. Doesn’t bog down like the 360 can, but I feel the multi tip teeth and/or rhino seem better than the green teeth on the bandit
  5. The wheels are driven on a self propelled so it’s easier to get to the stump, up ramps etc and whilst grinding small back and forth movements are much less strain. the predator 460 drives off the battery making it lighter, but the power can drain on long walks. Others like the bandit hb20, and I believe the fsi b22 are engine driven, but heavier as a result.
  6. Just a bit! Enquired about a pallet with tirfor on a pallet from Scotland to here and was about £100 ☹️
  7. Got a Stack of them if anyone wants some? Based in Essex
  8. Not tried an Otter Box but I use a Seacosmo for my iPhone and not had any breakages in 5 years
  9. This was my first reaction when I read the ops post - why on earth buy a house with so many problems unless very cheap with the potential for profits outweighing the considerable costs involved in sorting it out
  10. Too much booked in to have downtime, but by 4pm I want to be home in the armchair. Try to make sure jobs are planned to be finished by 2pm and home for 3 latest this time of year 👍
  11. Took this earlier today at a customers. Next to a mature Beech trunk, snowdrops, pumpkin and autumn leaves - not the combination you’d expect to see in November
  12. Let’s not carp on about it!
  13. I haven’t tried the husky but since I got the 161t I use it 90% of the time - love it! Only fired up the 150 about 3 or 4 times in the last year. Have dismantled almost double 10” bar length when necessary. Obviously it will eat batteries doing that but so long as you don’t expect petrol saw speed, it’s a very capable weapon in the armoury
  14. Trouble is they attack the padlock- cordless grinder and they all succumb unfortunately ☹️
  15. Was this all pointed out at the quoting stage? A lot of time (=cost) difference between being able to drop branches onto clear ground and having to lower everything down by rigging to avoid crushing saplings
  16. I got the Aldi 18v drill - cracking value but scbk is right - no batteries available, only the 20v ☹️ it’s only used as a backup to my makita and for doing pilot holes
  17. Postsaver - can buy it on a roll and just cut to size. Easy to apply, just be careful heating with the blowtorch as can overheat and make holes in it
  18. Spot on Mick
  19. Lovely bit of kit - rarely in this country would you get a customer with easy access like that. It’s gravel drive, narrow, muddy, etc or a combination of all of them. Tipped load on driveway and customer to sort unless they want to pay extra for your time to barrow and stack (I don’t offer this - my time is too valuable to me)
  20. Use it with respect, don’t try to cut too big and it’ll be fine. Great for fine finish on yew, conifer, privet etc but can still cut some rougher stuff
  21. Looks like blackbird to me - though size not so easy to tell without something to scale it next to?
  22. Been running rotatech on my Jensen for several years with no problems at all. Always properly clean the recess where they fit and tighten to the correct torque
  23. This! Plus there’s no way they are 70ft high from that picture - 40ft I’d believe
  24. rapalaman

    Stihl 660

Last year I bought a similar condition one for 450 with 25” bar. Spent about 100 on it with new side case, service parts etc and she flies 👍 500 would be a good price without the extra bars so prob 550-600 ish
  25. Brilliant! funny enough I won’t be bidding on this one 😏
