  1. Just bought one of these https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/STIHL-KOMBI-COMBI-COMPATIBLE-POLE-PRUNER-CHAINSAW-FITS-STIHL-KOMBI-LIKE-KM-HT/324434670754?hash=item4b89d034a2:g:yOgAAOSw2LFeFwVs Seems to fit ok so maybe the whole range is interchangeable?
  2. Very good - will listen out for more. She’s very easy on the eye too 😏
  3. Vid works fine on my iPhone with safari browser 👍
  4. Do you have pics of the actual items, serial numbers etc? Are they on arbsafe register? just see your other post with serial number
  5. Got a 360 about 6/7 years ago and been a brilliant bit of kit that has earned its price several times over. Only weak points are the brake arrangement which is very poor - get some spare cables as you will need them, and the exhaust shook itself to bits a couple of times. looking to upgrade but not yet sure what to
  6. That’s one I would avoid for any kind of livestock. Horse place that takes some of my chips insists on no yew.
  7. Depends on your area but here around Essex 130 - 140 per bay materials and labour, that’s decent quality close boarded panels. That’s about 60 on materials. Disposal is extra - if it’s just soil, maybe 30 for a 6/7 bay domestic fence. More if you’re taking out old fence/concrete/timber all have different disposal costs. never price on day rate for fencing
  8. So very little more than brash dragger money. A whole lot more job satisfaction though and sounds like nice surroundings to work in.
  9. The echo pb 8010 is about 580.00 if you shop around. Will be ordering one this month after using a br500 (I think)of a mates. But I don’t want another 4 mix engine. Have a few echo bits and always been impressed with them

    Covid-19

Good mate of mine, 57, has been in hospital just coming up to 3 weeks now. Still on oxygen, luckily off the drip now. always fit and healthy, non smoker, not overweight or a big drinker. His kids in 20s had it, bounced back, his missus had it bad but just like flu and now recovered. he walked up the corridor 20m with physiotherapist and said it knocked him out for rest of the day, 25 minutes to clean his teeth and have a shave. just praying he gets over it and home again. self employed like many of us so could be a long time with no income/sick pay.
  11. Anyone available to check for electric on a boundary that we’ve got to remove old hedge from and replant new please? Located near High Easter, Essex. About 30 meters of frontage to check, householder has no clue where it might run so really want to locate it before we start. weekend would be best, Cash paid 👍
  12. Exactly this - hopefully a slow and lonely demise!
  13. Central Park? Fished it hundreds of times through my teens and still do occasionally 😁
  14. Bargain! Paid 300 for a lightly used one with solid tyres about 18 months ago
  15. The vodka martini is obviously helping 😏
  16. Part of Chelmsford town centre earlier today
  17. Got to be in the autumn though when they’ve been a diet of nuts etc. In the spring and summer they eat lots of nestlings and it really affects the flavour of the meat (so I’m told)
  18. Have a read of the wee chipper thread - plenty of info and opinions on there 👍
  19. Wet two days running here in Essex - staying home doing machine maintenance and paperwork 👍
  20. I burn 50-60% softwood, properly seasoned so no sap or gunk and my chimney sweep says my chimney is spot on. Gets hardly anything out of it on it’s annual clean. Seasoning properly is the key - burn hardwood that’s not dry will gunk up your chimney just as easily
  21. I think the rayco will go down 13” and the rock 10” below ground. Depends on how much it’ll get used? The rayco should last longer so long as it’s been correctly maintained and will hold its value
  22. Bit dear there - cheaper are frjones but 270mm is prob better choice for shorter stature if it’s strapped to your leg or hanging from belt. I’m 5ft 8” and the 330mm in a sawpod is a tad too long for me
