  2. Yes removed all the bark between the two cuts. Cuts where at least two inches deep.
  3. I have an old ugly tree in my garden, I want to keep the tree but I’m sick of the mess it makes in autumn. I’ve ringed the tree with a chainsaw about two inches deep two circumferences of the tree six inches apart about two months ago.. thing is it’s still alive? what have I done wrong?
