  1. Delivered you would get a better price - for collected you’d probably get beer money. Most guys on here have more than enough wood of their own so stick it on fb sales or similar and you may get a better result 👍
  2. Pic comes up blank with a question mark on iPhone Les?
  3. I also looked at TW and the salesman seemed a bit clueless- I knew more about the machine than he did and I’d never seen a 230 in the flesh. Quoted me a price a couple of k higher than on their website - then asked me where I had seen that price 🤣 And spare wheel with mounting bracket at 450.00 I thought was a joke too
  4. Wasn’t my most enjoyable day/week but I’m still here 👍 MRI booked this coming Saturday. So far it’s just been a whole load of medication and dietary changes
  5. I had heard a rumour to that effect a few weeks ago. Had been trying to buy one from main dealer in September to no avail - nothing coming into the country apparently? I decided to hold off big purchases after my heart attack in early October and have had no contact at all from the dealer - surprising as I really wanted a new 530 and would have been an easy sale
  6. Unfortunately it’s the nanny state not allowing some platforms, obviously adult content etc. YouTube will be no problem 👍
  7. Goat willow isn’t too popular either 👍
  8. Our very own @Steve Bullman 👍
  9. Morning all - last grass cut of the year for a local doctors surgery, clear the car park of leaves etc. dry would have been nice but light rain here from 8am - at least it’s a bit warmer
  10. My Dad suffered from it too so guessing it runs in the family. He was also diabetic which thankfully I’m not as yet 👍
  11. I feel your pain! I missed two years of skiing until I got heated gloves and was put on Coracten tablets to ease Reynaulds. Felt like my fingers had been hit with a hammer even with very expensive skiing gloves on. I’m not sure which meds do what yet but am on blood thinners, statins, beta blockers and a few others. Hoping that next week’s MRI and a follow up in a couple of weeks will give some idea of what can be done. Already fed up of not being able to do my share on each job
  12. Same here - sat in the truck with the engine running and the heating on. Battery heated gloves are helping but with all the meds since my heart problems my circulation seems to be worse than ever. Glad the younger lads are stepping up and taking more responsibility 👍
  13. Had the Echo Pole Pruner something like a PT2400 a few years ago with the extra 1.5m (?) extension - huge reach but a bit unwieldy. Machine is long gone but I still have the extension in our unit somewhere if anyone would be interested at £75.00 ?
  14. Although it’s a softwood it dries like concrete so get it split as soon as possible. High heat output and burns like a hardwood. I always keep some back to sell to woodturners - quite popular. Used to do it via eBay but that’s all gone to shit now so I have around a ton of 13 year seasoned that a local fella sorts through and buys off me periodically 👍
  15. I always carry two three piece screens and always use at least one as I learned the expensive way. That was with just a 360sw
  16. Looks very impressive Mick - I’d just be very worried about not having screens around the worksite having taken out a customers double glazed window myself a few years ago. Didn’t think I needed to move the guard along a few feet and was wrong. That was only just short of where your Transit is parked. Will be interested to hear how it performs long term and reliability wise. Considering one of these or similar sized FSI once I’m fully recovered from my heart problems
  17. Welcome back - will be interesting to read your findings
  18. Where tf did I say that? You are assuming a lot there!!!
  19. Wherever he was born he needs dealing with appropriately- if he’s home grown scum or immigrant. Once this info is released then we will know either way
  20. Preventable - of course. Just consider if Axel Rudakabanas parents hadn’t been allowed in 20 odd years ago, those three little girls in Stockport would still be alive. As has been said many times, we have enough of our own home grown scum to deal with, without importing more by the thousands every month. How frequent do these attacks have to be before action is taken?
  21. Agree with you - the advantage of the 40 over the 26 is mainly the inclusion of an oil tank. mine hasn’t seen much use yet - had it a few months but normally grab the 161t out of habit
  22. I use my Henry to hoover up in the workshop
  23. The gta40 is better than the 26. Depends entirely on what kind of work you’re doing? I use battery 90% of the time but wouldn’t be without petrol saws for the bigger stuff/dismantles
  24. Wetherspoons- 1.79 a pint of ruddles which I would drink out of choice anyway. Range of bitters up to around 3.00 I think. Basic lager is also cheap. But that involves a bus into town and mixing with a wide cross section of society (that’s me being pc!)
  25. Essex - In my local of town pub my usual bitter is 4.20 but weekly guest ales range up to 5.50 for sub 5% and up to 6.50 for stronger/specials. I believe lagers are all 5-6 a pint
