  1. Me too - saw them total of six times on that tour in 84. Hammersmith odeon four times, Milton Keynes bowl and Crystal Palace 👍
  2. Got a fwd about 6 weeks ago, roller shutter toolbox and all ali body. Seems pretty good so far. Bit underpowered compared to my 3 litre daily but I expected that. Doesn’t carry the weight as well so need to offload a bit more often but that’s partly offset by much improved fuel consumption - around 30-40% better. Mainly on tarmac is fine - struggles a bit at my tip site when the mud gets really nasty so I avoid the worst areas. Tows 6 inch chipper easily enough
  3. The Shack, Fisherman’s Village, Koh Samui, Thailand I very rarely eat steak but this is one place I always will. All their food is superb and cooked on open coals right in front of you. Not cheap by Thai standards, but less than you’d pay in Europe. Keep meaning to treat myself the the Wagyu “next time” 👍
  4. Absolute genius - seen them twice and blown away each time 👍
  5. Advertised on tv a lot lately but I’ve been had several pairs for a couple of years and all still in good nick - elastic still good. I’ve chucked out most of my old normal boxers
  6. Step ones all the way - keeps everything in place away from pinching leg straps 😏
  7. Tried crickets, silkworms, scorpions etc in Thailand- not much taste really, odd crunchy then floury texture. Wouldn’t bother again
  8. I’ve been using Rotatechs in my Jensen for nearly ten years (not the same blades obviously) without a problem. Haven’t worn any quicker than genuine Jensen blades
  9. ALDIs are pretty good, along with stollen of course. no to the brandy butter or cream though 🤮 - little bit of single cream or or on their own 👍
  10. There’s a time and a plaice for all that 👍
  11. Probably Exeter rather than Essex 👍
  12. Location will help, plus access for vehicles/loading? species and sizes too
  13. Looking at other comparables anything over 20k for that is overpriced.
  14. Two eighteen hole courses near us have been built on - I remember them being turned into golf courses when I was a kid about 50 odd years ago. Now a sea of concrete and brick ☹️
  15. Only have cold drinks, even in the winter so squash, juice or even just water will do. not a fan of tea, only have one strong black filter coffee first thing in the morning which gets things moving if you know what I mean - definitely don’t want that effect whilst out working! if it’s really cold I’ll accept a hot drink just to warm my hands on. A couple of my regulars will do bacon sandwiches for us and one will pop out to Greggs for sausage rolls- love working there 👍
  16. Morning all - bit of a frost here. Just off to repollard a weeping willow and cut back some mixed hedging glad it’s going to be dry 👍
  17. One of my customers paid 180 for a cube of silver birch delivered and stacked while I was cutting her hedges. Her next load came from me at 75 for a heaped big builders bag so about .8m roughly of 90% mixed oak, cherry, syc, ash etc with a few softwood mixed in to get it going. Next order already in 👍
  18. First time ever the second crop of figs have been picked - usually dropped off with the first frosts by this time of year
  19. Morning everyone 😁 dry and bright for a change here - just pricing three today and will split a few barrow loads of logs for our use, maybe give the grass its last cut of the year
  20. Tirfor - pull left to right (as photo) then no danger of saw pinching or need to climb
  21. Morning all - wet here so sacked off big conifer reduction till tomorrow. So far behind schedule that another day won’t make much difference
