  1. Got it 👍
  2. As as aside - you’d think with a website like that they’d at least get it proof read - never ceases to amaze me how some businesses just don’t check these things
  3. Snowing steadily here in mid Essex - we don’t normally get that much luckily. That’ll be tomorrow off then as just getting across town to the job would be a nightmare with the traffic alone as drivers lose all ability with the merest hint of snow ☹️

    Work

    😂
  5. What area are you looking for supplies?
  6. The kinetic one will hurt your wrists/hands. Very uncomfortable to use - I had the portek version and sold it on after a few months. See if you can try one on different wood types before you commit to buy
  7. Got it
  8. Sad to hear one of the greatest songbirds ever has passed away today 🥲 saw her several times with Fleetwood Mac from the eighties till about 2018 and she was superb every time. Will be sorely missed
  9. No pic attached?
  10. Far too close to the wall I’m afraid- wrong tree wrong place
  11. Mind the teeth when you’re sucking those grey squirrels off 😏
  12. Looks a decent bit of kit and if I was built like their chippers it would be reliable too. Whereabouts you based?
  13. Don’t forget some chainsaw trousers at the very least, plus helmet with ear and face protection
  14. The flowers make a lovely sweet desert wine, and the berries a great, rich red. Years since I’ve done any of either though
  15. Ditto - not long been in from work, wet and cold so first fire of the season to take the chill off
  16. They should have cut the panel out to fit around the tree - did it many times back when I was fencing
  17. Me too - but been so warm here in Essex that I’m still out in a shirt in the evenings and wish I’d had shorts on for grass cutting today - was roasting!
  18. Ha ha! Mark’s one of the longest standing, respected arbs on this forum, and voted the funniest too 😂 think he’s pulling your chain 👍
  19. Location will help 👍
  20. Similarly (kind of) my accountant wouldn’t allow osteopath sessions to repair injuries caused whilst climbing, which almost stopped me working altogether
  21. Thank you - will pass this on to my customer 👍
  22. As per title - good customer of mine will be going for planning on a small site, perhaps 1/3 acre with numerous trees on the boundary and needs a survey done. Anyone have any recommendations please?
  23. About 50% goes to local allotments and private gardens. Rest goes to a free tipsite where it’s then sold on for biomass. Real clean loads with no green in occasionally gets sold but mostly I just need an empty truck for the next job
  24. Taking dollars now? 😏
  25. Similar on a new build at the back of me - tpo put on a spindly sycamore that the builders had rammed with their digger trying to uproot it. Had to wait 5 years after the development was finished before anything could be done to it. By then it had grown into a 45ft monstrosity in a tiny garden - five years and one week later they got us to remove 👍
