No, not 'the world' Some countries get along with Iran Same as some countries get along with North Korea Iran knows it couldnt wipe out Israel without all Iranian cities being destroyed. Israel has been making nuclear war heads at their underground sites since the 1980s. The whole non proliferation thing is so condescending. The US should not be able to tell other countries what to do, just because they have the most nukes.

Ash tree crown reduction excessive
krummholz replied to ashtreeguy's question in Homeowners Tree Advice Forum
It may be that they're establishing a Pollard structure given that the trees are so young. Were the previous works a reduction or a crown raise? Your last image (the "before" pic) has a few pruning cuts on the ash lower down. -

Hello all, Im new to buying unprocessed wood and have only previously bought by the tonne. I can buy ash + oak, felled last year and at roadside in 2.5M lengths for £60 m3. Is this a decent price? Elsewhere I can buy oak / ash @ £87.50 / T. I have a further opportunity to buy some larch and Douglas fir- felled more recently - and will discuss the price in person. What should I expect to pay here - again in m3? I will resell some and keep a minority for personal use - probably 80/20 split. Thank you all for advice.

Is it worth signing up to checkatrade as a tree surgeon?
Steve Bullman replied to Coretrees's topic in Business Management
Everyone elses price shot up? Had a call from one of my clients this morning (not a tree surgeon), saying checkatrade just put his price up around 30% -

No such luck. Couldn't even drive my little VW to work in the end on nights. Despite being £30 tax it was a frugal (70-85mpg) little diesel and fell foul of Sultan Khan's ULEZ rules. Final nail for me. Onwards and upwards. Now drive the company diesel on their time into town. All works out in the end. :-)

It's a little flail arm hedge cutter. Needs some new control cables which I have and will fit one day, plus a bracket making for the tractor to hold the valve block and levers.
