Tree Canopy Climb, a business of 13+ years in the Barnsley, South Yorkshire area, are looking for a full time grounds-person and a weekend sub-contracting climber. 90% of our work is based in the Barnsley area and I am based in Darton just off Junction 38 of the M1. Monday - Friday is all the 2 man jobs with me + grounds person. The weekends are reserved strictly for the larger tree jobs working Saturdays and Sundays (rarely). Grounds-person will be expected to get to the garage at 7AM Mon-Fri and same time Saturdays when working. Experienced is good but also someone very keen with some experience is OK with the opportunity to put through a full apprenticeship scheme with Askham Bryan on a 9-week block release basis.   22. Seasoned woodsman heading back to the New Forest after six months abroad. I get back on 12th July and ideally I’m looking for forestry/groundie work within an hour of Bramshaw. I have Cs30/31/32/38/39, brushcutter and tractor experience. Not climbed for a while but competent with a chainsaw and happy to build up from groundie until I get back into the swing of things if needed. Got my own PPE, saw etc. Cheers Steve
  23. Hi, following a change in career, I am newly qualified with CS30/31 certificates and looking to begin work as a groundsman. With my sights set on undertaking my CS38 Ariel rescue course as soon as possible, I am also first aid at work trained, hold a MEWP licence and have experience towing up to 750kg MAM. I currently live in Winchester but willing to relocate for the right position. Preferable areas of work would be Hampshire and Wiltshire. Admittedly I have little experience except for some work experience with a local firm, however I am no stranger to hard work and long days. Been doing UA work for about a year looking to see what else is around. Been climbing for half year but ur limited due to mewp work mainly.
