Melius is growing and already working across the NPG and SPEN contracts, in partnership with Avove. As such, we're now recruiting another team and looking for high quality, motivated operators. We're looking for both ground and aerial operators and you'll need all the normal qualifications accordingly, including operating from a MEWP and chipper licenses. Direct employed and sub-contract arrangements can be considered but direct employed are preferred. Melius offers highly competitive/attractive salaries and rates plus a unique benefits package. Vehicle and machinery maintenance skills would also be an advantage as the applicant will be required to help with the routine weekly maintenance tasks. The successful applicant will need to communicate effectively and work well with others. We are looking for a candidate who is professional, reliable and adaptable to the range of work and clients that we have. Looking for a self employed sub contract arborist willing to commit to 2 or more days a week in Rettendon, Essex, cm3. We are a small firm but I own and run 3 businesses so promptness, commitment and reliability are essential, as well as usual tickets, driving licence and towing capabilities. I am happy to pay up to £200 a day for the right candidate. Job roles to include mainly but not exclusively climbing and leading a job site, dealing with on site paperwork, client relations on site and all the domestic and council arb work as standard. Typical work hours 8am - 4pm. Good experience is required and the ability to think outside the box on tricky sites. Main role will be to climb, but hedge trimming, site clearances and usual arb work will be included in day to day activities.
