I'd say if you have to buy wood its as expensive than the alternatives, & even if you get free wood there stil the cost/time of processing it etc. Also price of wood will probably keep on rising as demand is high & linked to othere costs such as petrol, & after ash die back even less trees around....... Good insulation is the sensible thing to do if you can manage it so you don't need to burn loads of wood to keep warm.

Local national park & some other regions in Wales has a mapping system for invasives, but i know thats only the tip of the iecberg as iv'e seen loads of knotweed sites that aren't recorded on the map https://eryri-atlas.cofnod.org.uk/ Kind of think a national map would be good. Local council pays alot too contractors for control but it all doesn't seem very coordinated e.g the need too revist sites repeatedly, so seems most invasives are spreading alor faster than they are being "contained" or elimnated.

In this dry weather theres unlikely too be much mud stuck on soles of wellies that could have roots stuck in it for vegetative propagation. Just make sure too clean any clods of soil off stuck if on bottom of boots & any tools etc if there is any before leaving site?

Looking @ run times i reckon its the same power as the MSA 200 C-BQ cordless rear handle, maybe has same parts... Why do they not sell a full range of spares for cordless? When the motor went on my dyson I replaced it for £20, but don't see any spares listed for theese cordless tools, sees a shame to have to bin stuff because no spares avalible? Cordless stuff is disposable if breaks more landfill? -

I quiet like new age traveller fashion thoose stripey woolen jumpers dredds & the ones that look like mad max extras & the lurcher on a string. Kind of wondering if the "movement" is gradually dying out now as see less around, though there is a local encampment of about 10 vans they have being in the same layby for the last 5yrs.

In 2 or 3 yrs they will grow back the same length so will be a constant on going thing to keep them tidy if thats what you want. Your could try doing one tree see if you like the look of it after. -

But a dumpy bag fulled on top of a proper wheelbarrow can carry loads more for the lighter large volume stuff like grass mowings leaves & hedge clippings. Its like a single wheeled sack trolley better for moving heavy stuff like boulders & large tree rootballs etc, but normal a sack trolley will also do that. So its niche is heavy loose stuff gravel i suppose but tipping gravel etc from a normal wheel barrow is easier than empting that I reckon.

Many saplings are completely dead apart from a few sprouts at base, many trees around 30yrs old age top of canopy twigs dead. Least visible signs on the 50yrs old plus trees though a few some are showing signs also. How fast will it progress to kill the mature trees after they first show symptoms?
