  1. MS181 is a poor saw as its very slow to cut & has poor power to weight ratio. The makita ea4300 its loads better value for money especially at the current bargin price. It is like the makita version of an MS241 I have used both ms181 & ea4300 huge difference between them. If you want a quality dinky light weight saw get an echo (But more ££££) Corded electric saws from either husky stihl & makita (theese 3 make quality corded electric saws) are also good for firewood near the house & cut alot faster than a MS181.

  7. Maybe could hire a flail mower for few days to clear garden & create paths etc? Have a look at the BCS ones Depends on how much money & time you have e.g brushcutter alot cheaper but takes alot longer to clear large areas.

Climbed up inside hedge with silky and used a wolf garten pole with lopper attachment to reach top of sides that couldn't reach from bottom didn't leave a tidy finish.. & got impaled & scratched on dead leylandi inside hedge.

  24. Elder has a very distinct smell some reckon bit like cats piss also wood is hollow with pith inside. Anyway look like it needs lopping but your suppose to ask the Elder Mother first: ?   25. Looks abit like a elder to me but surely thats too obvious & it would have berries? Leaves look slighty different than an elder maybe but the dead bit of wood @ rear & growth habit overall looks very elder-ish
