  2. I remember downloading it on dial up internet
  3. Is the jolly roger cookbook still doing the rounds?!
  4. You need a better splitter......
  5. http://www.pelletcouncil.org.uk/news/wood-pellet-shortages
  6. An elderly friend was telling me it's been hard to get her normal (wood pellet) cat litter, petsathome etc were/are sold out. There's quite a few new build homes, especially the housing association type, with pellet heating.
  7. Reminds me of this story from a couple of years ago... http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-33510639
  8. If it's just for ivy, would you not get away with a good set of loppers? Cut up to 2" thick?
  9. Not had a chance to try it out yet, but I wonder if a set of timber tongs would be much use on the end of a mini digger?
  10. There is a hedge cutter attachment for chainsaw bars that you can get, hardly worth buying just for this one hedge though!
  11. Big rings of noble fir, in the rain of course!
  12. Just wondering, where did you get the Omeo Gum seeds from? This country or abroad? Are they easy to germinate?

    Snowblower

Same as a shovel though, once it's driven on you've had it For snow, get the best blower you can, the husky 580 is one of the biggest (and heaviest!)
  14. I would say get well set up with the wood for your own use first, you will need plenty of it to run a log boiler, you need to build up a few years supply.
  15. A guy locally used to have one of those turner tugs for towing a trailer round his garden, funny looking thing! Think he sold it.....
  16. Not actually related to delivering firewood, I used to have a box trailer and fitted a 2nd 'caravan' style socket alongside. I had that running reverse lights, work lamps, LED interior lighting, and even a camera on the rear of the trailer. Made it much more pleasant to use at night!
  17. Didn't realise it was a member's machine, well done on getting it back, bet you're glad of the tracker?! The guy has another recent video chasing a stolen mini digger to Germany....
  18. It's been a few years, but you can change the front discs on a mk6 transit without touching the bearings.
  19. I always like this guys videos, this is from just the other day
  20. Does it not say on the old fuse? Usually tiny writing, on one of the metal ends.
  21. They're 2 or 3 times the price of the chinese saw benches. But going by the ebay link above, chinese one weighs 120kg, balfor weighs 200kg! Which is quite a difference
  22. I had a problem with mice eating the pre filter, and for a while I was removing the air filter after use and putting it in a plastic tub. We used to have an old moggy who was lovely, but hopeless at hunting. When she died, we got 2 kittens from a semi feral mother, and they dealt with the mice!!
  23. Sorry to derail the thread, but if the tracker is gps only, will it work inside a container/van/tin shed etc?
  24. http://www.greenmech.co.uk/product/cs-100/ Seems a fair price, you could probably use it for a few years, sell it, and get most of that back!
  25. I'm sure the Jansen (and all the other copies) have their use, but you can't really compare a machine made in china on a budget, to one made in the UK, or Europe for Jo Beau
