  1. Not quite as bright but linemarker paint is good and cheap
  2. Ah so it will still collect ok with the mulching blade on? I like to be able to switch between mulch/collect as the conditions suit
  3. I take it with the kaaz mowers the only way to mulch is by taking it into the workshop and fitting the mulch kit, you can't switch between mulching and collecting?
  4. I once got over 90,000 miles out of a rear tyre on a front wheel drive transit!
  5. He doesn't want to sell the saw for a fiver, so get your fiver back!
  6. Splitter runs off a powerpack (not visible in video), the barrow is a mucktruck so no hydraulics
  7. Got a wee video done in this dry weather.... [ame] [/ame]
  8. Got no money, sir? Pay later stunned customer told (From Herald Scotland)
  9. Yes it seems ok, comes with a Chinese engine (Rato) which is a bit of a shame. I will do a video in a week or 2 when I can find some wood to cut!
  10. I'm no expert but it surely can't help that towns are almost entirely paved over? Front gardens are ripped up and replaced with block paving/tarmac, and rainwater isn't dealt with by the landowner, it's just all channelled into mains drains, never gets a chance to soak in to the ground.
  11. I've done some on my own with a mulching blade on a brushcutter, yes it's slow but atleast there's no material to get rid of. Assuming there's no trees etc nearby, wonder how well it would work if you cut a nice wide border round the hectare then set fire to the lot in situ!?
  12. If the dash lights up as normal then it's probably the starter motor (solenoid), or a dodgy connection If it was the immobiliser then the immobiliser light would be going mad. If it was the ignition switch (changed mine last week!) then the lights wouldn't come on/or not stay on
  13. Got the petrol balfor 700mm, glad to get one as I had been thinking about one for years. Not the easiest thing to move around but just possible to load into the van on my own. it will be getting a proper test this weekend and will hopefully be running all day long!
  14. Yes and also wouldn't phone up insurance company asking for "advice" as this could/will get logged on the system as a claim!
  15. There's been a few threads on these recently, I got a set of 3M Peltor Worktunes off ebay from USA a few months ago, they seem very good, and the batteries last a long time. Not sure if I'm brave enough to use them in the rain yet?!
  16. No matter what courier company, all of the times when they have sent an email or text with a delivery day, NEVER once has the item turned up on the specified day!
  17. Debris/scaffold netting seems to work, if necessary can be weighed down with a strip of wood stapled to the bottom
  18. Have a look at the TCF engineering brash cart, it looks like it would be ideal with a tow hitch on it, 750mm wide Brash Cart - TCF Engineering
  19. Hi yes I'd be interested to know the price of the petrol Balfor, and what engine is on it (kohler?) and what's the fuel consumption like?
  20. This is what you need, you can mash stuff up with it [ame=http://www.amazon.co.uk/Oregon-295508-0-Universal-Brushcutter-Husqvarna/dp/B00RZH1MGM/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1449448045&sr=8-2]Oregon One-For-All 295508-0 Universal Mulching Brushcutter and Clearing Saw Blade 3 Tooth for Stihl, Husqvarna, Mitox, Echo, Kawasaki and Other Machines: Amazon.co.uk: DIY & Tools@@AMEPARAM@@http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/31i4uOAZeEL.@@AMEPARAM@@31i4uOAZeEL[/ame]
  21. Great, I've just built a snow plough for mine No snow to test it out yet though lol Also built a towbar that attaches onto the skip
  22. Is it a mulcher blade with the turned down ends? They are the best
  23. Has anyone got/used one of the petrol powered circular saw benches? (haven't got a tractor/pto) I wonder how easy they are to drag around?
  24. The only thing to watch with burning rhody is due to the shape of the stems (big tangled mess) it doesn't always "sit down" on a fire very well, so it burns out in the middle. Obviously helps to cut the stems into smaller pieces. Another suggestion, assuming you don't get a digger in! Send someone round with a strimmer with a mulching blade to try and reduce the volume of the thinner stuff and make a bit of room!
