  1. Glad you've got it sorted. My climber lives in bury - if you were really stuck.
  2. Watcher doing Ben?
  3. I also saw them on the black ice tour at wembley. Best gig ever, and I've been to quite a few. The 30ft Rosie riding a train will stay with me forever.
  4. I bought myself a sexy little number - just have to get her to wear it now.
  5. I second that. I was Stihl all the way until this year. Bought a 346 in April - easily matches my MS260.
  6. I go wolf as well. Really light compared to the more expensive alternatives. And fairly cheap to replace the saw head or pole if say you have employees that drop them out of trees or though lumps of wood on them!!

I would do silky but i had my monthly shave on Friday, ears and all.
  8. Hope you had a good holiday Steve. Sorry that you had to come back to my trimmers.

    Spikes

Distel aluminium - a little more than your basic steel shank spurs but worth every pennie.

Good on you Tomas. Just donated. I have thought about doing this but i normally have a face full of fur for most of the month anyway so no one would know the difference. Cheers, Ed.
  11. You get the SJ, I'll get the zigzag.
  12. I like Katherine Jenkins.
  13. I've been to see both an osteopath and a chiropractor in the past. Both had lots of certificates on their wall, both had me coming back week after week. Both didn't help much. First time i went to a physio, I was amazed at how quickly they diagnosed and sorted the problem.
  14. First big stump job with the new grinder - a sycamore that we took down earlier in the year.
  15. Message sent
  16. Don't think you are supposed to put petrol or oil anywhere near your climbing kit.
  17. I'm going to struggle getting the torso through the TW150 or the CS100 without getting messy.
  18. Hi Paul, I still get headaches from time to time. I don't know if thats from the trip north or from the amount of info that Tony tried to cram into my head.
  19. Leeds was far enough to travel for us southerners.
  20. Congrats Sam.
  21. Stay clear off the Stihl 4mix Kombie's. Just bought yesterday the Echo multi-tool (PAS 265-ES). First impressions are that it's a well built machine but will review after a few months of use.
  22. I was quoted about £650 from Trust last year. That was for about £20k of cover. Market value for Chipper and new for old on chainsaws. I thought that was a little steep but will have to look into getting cover again with all these posts of thefts.
  23. Good post Dan. That's one reason why i haven't strayed from the Weaver. I feel safe with a cow wrapped around me.
  24. Hadn't see that one on the knot guide. Slightly different to how i tie i in that the second loop is reversed. I'll try that out next climb.
  25. Yes, it sounds like he was about to clip into the loop that the slipped tie-off made. I use a double bowline - thats just with a double loop at the start of the knot instead of one. An instructor at college said that with a double BL I wouldn't need to tie a stopper knot. I still do tho.
