  9. no, definitely a problem here - i was pushing hard. My cap on his saw still does it - suggesting a tank issue. But His cap on my saw still does it - suggesting a cap issue. Confused Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App

  11. You know - the thing on the 200T when you just can't fully twist the cap into the locked position and it just keeps popping up. Is it the cap or is it a problem with the tank moulding? Mine's ok but my mate's is a beeitch! Can't see any difference between them. Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App

Simples. No, it really isn't to hard. Odds on that the t-bar is, or will get broken as I believe Stihl makes them out off paper mache! About £6 for a new one. Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  13. I see what you mean. I'll give it a go. Thanks Ed
  14. Been trying to make one good 025 from two spares saws that were given to me. Got one running sweet now but its not pumping chain oil. Checked pipes are Clear. Checked clutch is turning worm which is turning pump. So guessing the actual pump is nackered. The problem is that it doesn't seem like you can change the pump as it looks moulded into the plastics of the saw body. Only thing that I can think off is to switch all components on to the other saw body and hope that that pump works - unless anyone has any other suggestions. Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  15. Kind of agree with this statement. I did play league for a number of years and "two lines of players running at each other" petty much sums it up. Always thought that introducing a league style defence into the union game was whats needed - rush defence, double up tackles, etc. Called it a day with league when a ref judged a full forearm/elbow to the face was a legal tackle. Union will always be may first love. Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App

  19. Thanks for the words guys. He's probably just lost another £3500 worth of tools. It wouldn't surprise me if he decided to call it a day like Mr Waugh. If this crime-wave isn't cracked down on soon, one day they will get caught in the act and blood will be spilt. Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  20. Dad's lock-up just been done over again. 5 replaced saws and at least 3 old ones (two i gave him). South Cambridgeshire. Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  21. Just seen in the current ArbMagazine that there doing a PTI course at Shuttleworth in July. Perfect - enough time to read up, a local college and i can drop off all my dodgy saws with Spud on the way! Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  22. He's been around a while. Some of those small tool lots looks like they where from his early days. Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  23. I think that i have two if they are the same ones that were call Jet winches. First bought a big 5ton which never failed me but is extremely heavy. Also bought a smaller 2ton-ish one of a friend which is ace - much lighter and enough power to put hedge stumps out. Reliable and a fraction of the price of a Tirfor. Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  24. Yes, i think it probably would if you guide it towards the zigzag. I think footlocking or returning from a branch walk it would tend fine. Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  25. Yeah, my climbing rope is limelight which i think i quite similar to Tachyon, about 11.7mm I think. Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
