  1. Hi Matty, Let me know if you do need another pair of hands on Saturday, even if it's just to do a BBQ and be tea-boy. I'm only 20 minutes away from Royston so you can call me at short notice if you need anything. Cheers Ed 07799 386005
  2. Hi Matty, my plans have changed for this weekend so I am now available. Would love to help even if it is just managing the BBQ.
  3. I want to try some chainsaw sculptures in the near future. How do you secure to wood if it's a small piece. Does anyone use carver's screws?
  4. Just ordered my Ochsenkopf. Hopefully by the time of Justin's show I might be able to get it in the target the right way round!
  5. I have a feeling that they didn't sell as well as Steve had hoped, although it was pretty pooy weather at the show so I don't think that helped. I expect they will be at all the main shows.
  6. Well done Arran. Dan's time was pretty special too. I might go in for it next year when they start the new arthritic veterans catergory.
  7. Best bargain of the show!

Maybe we could combine a gun-fest with the next saw-fest.
  9. Yes, top service by Justin and co. Had a problem with my CS100 this morning, gave them a call and Bob talked me through what to do/check. All sorted now. Justin, please pass my thanks on to Bob. Cheers.
  10. Thats great thanks Steve. Got a family get-together the following weekend - should be a good laugh. Lets hope the axe only gets used on the target!
  11. Theocus, if you fancy cutting a spare ring, i'll make a donation to the charity for it. I'm planning to get an axe and don't have any big takedowns in the near future. Steve, what's the make of your axe. Do you know if any of the traders at the show will be selling them.
  12. More pics, from my phone camera - sorry. Great day!
  13. A 660 and a wedge.
  14. How much are the replacement wooden inserts?
  15. Always sunny in Norfolk
  16. Hi SMG, Very nice cup. If your camping at the aa show this year i'll repay your kindness (cider) from last year. You would find that mine is bubbly and tastes of pear tho. Ed
  17. Having to change my bike as the riding style is aggravating my hip. Just got the Ducati which is a lovely bike but going it's going to be sad selling the Triumph, she's been great. Anyone looking for a bike?
  18. Right Martin, we're giving tosh the Willow with the 40ft poles above the old pollard to do.
  19. That sounds about right. First job that i used mine on i did 3 hours of chipper on approx 6 to 7 litres of fuel.
  20. willow that i had to deal with last year.
  21. But they would suddenly care if you caught them in the act and gave them the kicking that they deserve.
  22. My 441 has the same problem. I've tried cleaning it and changing the spring but it makes very little difference.

Tosh can fill you in on the finer details but it was on this big conny bashing job. Happened during the last few trees at the end of a day and involved a 200T.
  25. So can we confirm the rec climb as the weekend of the 9th June? I'll bring the burgers. Ed.
