When i was first training back in 2003, one lecturer said that the average length of time for a climber is 10 years, so therefore i have 1 year left. He was probably not far off with me due to a very dodgy hip.

Peanut butter cookies and choc- crispies i did on easter day. The chocolate crispies never last long - I can't help myself.

Gave the new 346 a good run out today. Liking it a lot. The 560 really impressed me on Sunday. I may be a convert to the dark side.

I don't know whether i'm a natural or just a fluke. I got 11 on my first go and 19 on my second. We'll see at the next show! Tempted to get an axe and target - the range would just about fit in my back garden!

you know you can get replacement screen/LCD off ebay for £25-£30. I replaced the screen on my wife's iphone4 a few months back. It was fiddly but is do-able with a u-tube vid for guidance.

An old hilux. An old 026 given to me by my Father-in-law and a very cheap hedge cutter but I did have a good new climbing kit that i bought for my college course.

Spuds way sounds pretty good. I've done it before using strong fingers and patience. Think i did it once coiling the spring from the centre using a pen, but I'd definitely try Spuds method.

Wasn't planning on going to the AA this year (definitely Jonesies and APF) but if your camping and have a spare seat on the minibus, it could be a giggle.

New ignition barrel from spectrum plant is only £30.15+vat. Easy enough to fit.
