  3. Terrafirma have some smart looking winch bumpers for a d2. Warn will be the best bet for choice. 9000ti is a good winch. 8274 is sought after and are good winches but depends what you want to do with it. I have an m8000 and that's got plenty grunt. Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  4. Happy Christmas to all. Here's to a prosperous 2014! Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  5. Manuel Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  6. I had a Boxing Day call out in 2011. That was expensive. Christmas Day call out as others have said would have to be life or death situation. And that would be very expensive. Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  7. Already one called leafsnap I second the tree felling game. Sounds like fun Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  8. Its saleable. I sell mine £50 for tractor trailer load. As an energy source maybe not mine but it has other uses. Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  9. You'll have to bob down so I can have a mosey or I could saunter up to have a look at some point. Any pics?
  10. What's the battery life like on these saws? Thinking of getting some on our Christmas trees. Lots of small cuts through the day. Some shaving down of the stems of the trees. But not heavy use. Had some huskie electric saws for a few years but they are a bit tired now as they get battered. Can they run Oregon power sharp too? Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  11. I am due to start a large tree survey in the new year an I am bound to come across some imminent risk trees so we are now after a climber who can be nearby at short notice. There will be regular work as we will put you through getting an ISPS pass required for the work. High standard of work and health and safety is expected. We are CHAS and Achilles approved. Please contact me through email at [email protected] or 07841128366 Thanks Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  12. I got a box of vallorbe files and find they are faster than others I've tried. Have a box of Oregon too and they are still good but don't seem as aggressive. End result is a sharp chain so I'm happy. Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  13. I had 5mm in mine then spud widened it to 8mm. I knew you would end up with one Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  14. Nice choice on the m3. Had a drive of one of those shortly after they came out in 2007. They are a seriously quick car. The v8 is one of the best noises I've heard a car make! I remember doing donuts in it on a grass field. Going sideways in £50k was fun! Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  15. Mine got tweaked by spud and is now epic. Will play quite happily in 10" cuts but is great for reducing trees. Revs up instantly and is like a mini 200t! Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  16. How much are you after for your 110? Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  17. we have about 40k growing here, planting 10k per year to become completely sustainable with our own stock this decade. They dont require a huge amount of work but need to be managed like any crop, pest and diseases, fertilising, with trees they need shaping and leaders selecting to make sure they grow straight, tricky with the frasers as they seem to want to grow a couple of leaders if left alone where the nordmans wont. if your growing a few hundred you wont get a huge return, it would be more feasible using it for faster rotation crops. we are beginning to get a good return on our 7 year old trees this season and will get three years plus out of whats still there after this season.
  18. 14 months in zermatts here and will get another pair. Stuck a spike in one so will just get another lot and maybe re sole as a backup. I said that about the air streams that started talking when I walked around. They are still sat with little sole. Made up with the zermatts. Warm in winter which is what I wanted, no fancy socks, best addition was some air cushioned insoles. Makes them comfier than my trainers. Would rather walk anywhere in them than my trainers now! Tempted by the stihls. Will look into them next!
  19. Shot up to Balmers today to collect a toy we think may be useful for the Christmas trees. Turns out on further thinking we could probably use one all year, sprayer, general work, gritter, snow plough Was spotless when it arrived at the yard. Not so much 10 mins later. It is super fun! JD Gator 855
  20. Here's some
  21. No brake fluid on the handbrake. Could be worth pulling rear prop off and cover and having a look at the linkage in there. May not be releasing fully so it's tickling the sensor. Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  22. Selling Christmas trees here. Had three £5 tips in 2 days. Helped one couple with sorting a tree as they really struggled and the woman said I was really knowledgeable and knew what I was doing. Also that she doesn't normally like people but she likes me! Needed some wide doorways after that. Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  23. They are super easy. Jack up, spring compressors on, pull out spring. Replace with new one. Unbolt shock and replace. Repeat for each corner! Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  24. I have mine on an ifor p7 trailer. It can be left on the trailer and will fire into my pickup with a chip box happily. Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
