  1. Yeah. It's an invasive weed that will push into buildings and we've dealt with it pushing through cavity wall into loft space. My dad knows a lot so I can let him know and pass his number to you if you want? Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  2. Mortgage is impossible with JKW on the property. Only real solution is dig and remove. Spraying is ok but near water course is a can of worms. Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  3. I've seen Meripilus do it. Fine one year, dropped leaf 3 weeks before the rest of the beech adjacent. Then never came back into leaf. Merip fruiting bodies everywhere now. Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App

  6. Surveying along a line of plums and then a couple of planes. This fella was sat at the end. And has me puzzled. I reckoned some sort of conifer from the bark but the twigs and leaves confused me. Very spreading pendulous form. About 15m spread but only 5-6m high. Three books showed not a lot. I reckoned a yew but couldn't get set on anything. Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App

  14. This mornings task. I had condemned this willow July 2012 and its now finally down. I'd been struggling to get it sorted for the last couple of months but it still took near enough a year for the customer to come round Stuck a pulling line in with my hook on a pole. Through a pulley and to the truck. Came over a dream. Filled one truck with logs and a few shovelfuls of chip. Plenty wasps knocking around this. They fancied my butties but I wasnt having any of that! Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  15. Cheers. I did look at tree station but was pushed for time and it was a bit far. Will keep places in mind. Cheers guys Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App

  19. ive never had a good experience from all the bloatware that comes with them. the worst being the antivirus mcafee and norton. I can normally get along with it but there is so much unnecessary software that 90% of people probably wouldnt ever use, i never did on the computers ive had. My built by a specialist in a shop PC has never given me an issue. the clean installs of windows OS compared to the supposedly clean from PC world is a massive difference in speed and useability. one site i would use is Computer Hardware - Scan.co.uk their systems are very good, never had a full system but have bought numerous things off them in the past. they have a system for every budget and requirement. if you have a keyboard mouse and screen you wont go far wrong IMO!
  20. If your gonna go anywhere don't go to pc world or Currys. The amount of crap the computers come with is unreal. It's no wonder they soon slow down. I have an old laptop I reinstalled fresh windows on without all the rubbish and its lasted a lot longer. Spent 500£ on a desktop tower only and it lasted 5 years before everything was way out of date. It still ran fine. 20 months ago I spent another 500 on some top parts. Ram, processor and motherboard and picked up a big hard drive. I can see that lasting longer than 5 years. The Mac mini would be my next choice really too! Go for the mid range one which is £600 and something. Getting the intel i7 processor will be a big difference future wise. Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  21. Nice big hydraulic husky winch or whoever makes them. 6-8t should see you well! Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  22. Gazebo? Depends what level you want. Creocote for increased longevity possibly? Even just a few thick coats of varnish. Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  23. For £400 I'd go to an independent specialist and get a lot better value for money. I know you Yorkshire men like that. I'd go for something with a decent base ie processor hard drive and ram. You can get good mother boards to link it all together that will run a screen through HDMI. I could probably build you one for £400! Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  24. There's j s Lewis in Leigh. New holland dealers. They offer a discount for fast payment on their invoices. How about this one Tractors : New Holland 7840 SLE
  25. Ignition system: TDI Is it a diesel?
