  1. Beech reduction. There were a lot of upright stems in this tree. Made it tricky to get it to shape. Lots of leggy branches so not much to reduce to in places. Before After
  2. 3 weetabix in the morning. Water through the day. Lunch if I remember! Nice big tea. I find I don't get too hungry I just need plenty fluids with food thrown in if its there. Protein shakes help a lot too. Make sure you get the right type ones. As they have variations.
  3. Tight squeeze for a conifer yesterday
  4. There's a guy who's knocked down a load of conifers from about 35-40' down to fence height 5'. He's driving a corsa with a trailer smaller than the car. Been doing the job for two days now and barely taken much away. If I had done the same I'd reckon a day and a bit moving logs. What really surprised me was that he was using one of those cheap Chinese fake stihls. Spotted it a mile off. Bashing stuff down in the trailer. He's parked on an outside kerb on a roundabout and there's lots of people walking past that point he nearly took a cyclists head off. No signs or cones or beacons. You come round a corner and find him in the way. Quite dangerous IMO.
  5. Here's a good example for you Pete. My dads 110 runs terrafirma HD springs. No helpers. Absolutely fine for your 130 I would think.
  6. Not quite finished moving yet
  7. That's probably what it is. Never done it so don't know the process.
  8. Try this. Might get the ball rolling for you. By my reading you can just do it up to 3500. But I may be wrong! https://www.gov.uk/specialist-tests-for-lorries/change-the-weight-you-can-carry Edit: you apply for the updating. Seems simple enough
  9. Depends on its body. If its a 3050kg then it may have the body that is one piece with the cab. Not an issue if its staying as a pickup but you won't have a full width tailgate. It may be worth installing some heavier duty springs if there aren't any on it. Shocks are all the same really but if you get HD springs you'll be able to get shocks with them in a kit. The plating will need changing but I'm unsure of the process.
  10. Nothing. Moving out of the container after 3 years
  11. Firelighter in the top. Apply fire. You could use a stick and push it to the bottom which I think would be more effective
  12. I think in this instance undercutting the competition is the way forward!
  13. Willow reduction today. No pics though. Imagine a weeping willow smaller than it was this time yesterday. Then a little leggy cherry to reduce. Took loads of length off. Easily 6' all around. Not much left now but the tree now suits its location.
  14. Nope. No real need for it unless I change the turbo to a VNT one. Wouldn't give that much of a difference for its cost. So I can't justify it for now!
  15. Wood wasps are awesome first one I saw landed on a guys zip on his saw pants. He thought it was going to bite his knackers off! They do sound like helicopter. I found this moth at the yard. Couldn't believe how big it was!
  16. Good effort. But the back seats aren't full. So 8/10!
  17. No worries. If you need help give me a shout
  18. I've not noticed that much of a difference tbh. Over 6 months I may do about 10-20 miles less per tank it seems. That may be to do with me heavy right foot enjoying the extra power though!
  19. I ordered a lifeproof case from the proper website. There are so many fakes its unreal so couldn't go wrong with the website. It was $100 but I am chuffed to bits with it. Well made and waterproof and dust proof. Perfect! Got it on an iPhone 5. Which has taken a fair battering since I got it. Missing some of the paint around the edges and has a chunk missing where I caught some keys with it in my hand. But never had an issue!
  20. I've got these ill sell at £4.95 each
  21. A big bad debt stick. Apply where necessary.
  22. Use one and you will see every point of it.
  23. This is the guide I used. I'm an enthusiastic amateur! Use a bit of sense and its easy. http://www.orrp.com/smf/index.php?topic=4722.0
  24. I didn't really notice that much more fuel being used. Not enough to shout about anyway. Exhaust gas temp is one to watch but I believe that's more to do with increasing boost. I did mine just after the new year and I've not had an issue.
  25. There's no ECU to chip. You can fettle with the injector pump which just adds more fuel across the power range. Really livens them up! If you want to spend money get a better intercooler and then a VNT turbo.
