  1. Probably being sold after it had finished the last stump ever on the Shetland isles Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  2. I seem to have a weaker back than I should, spinal issues where the mid section doesn't bend as much as it should. A day and a half cutting mainly waist height hedges and It knocked the wind out of me to walk. Not good. That was with hs81r cutters with the 30" cut. Used some hs41(?) Iirc and it helped but took a bit longer to cut everything. It meant I could carry on though. Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  3. Very smart Gareth. Will have to come visit and drool on the clean paintwork. I bet you never get it dirty! Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  4. Go for a Southdown snorkel. Much better looking IMO! Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  5. Just seen this. I've got a travelex card. Just load it up with £ which then converts to NZ dollars and you have a debit card in local currency. They are free delivery from the website and you get a good rate too. Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  6. Join what? Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  7. All down to what you want to do with it. If it's over landing you won't go far wrong with that 110 prepped one. The suggestion of finding something to rebuild to your own spec is probably the best one. Find a landy specialist nearby and go through them. They may even find one too. Look on the landy zone forum. Introduce yourself before you post though. The locals can be a bit rowdy. Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  8. What's the legality of fitting one of these? I think I've read bull bars are banned unless fitted before 08 or something like that. I could find one and remove the extra protection possibly?
  9. Galv chassis. Nice! Paint it black so the ne'er do wells don't see it and nick it. I do like that trailer too. Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  10. Aww man I would have come to this if I wasn't in Oz! Is this through UKTT/nomadic climbers or just for fun? Have fun guys Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  11. Looks like a fir to me. Maybe silver.
  12. They are all good engines in their own right. 200/300 are chugging tractor engines so don't expect to be thrown into your seat much. The 200tdi are generally a bit slower because of the lower geared lt77 gearbox and transfer box. The 300/td5 share the same r380 box but not sure what the transfer boxes are. I think they are the same again. The td5 just gets its spinning faster quicker. Td5 have a bit more electronics to them so can be difficult to sort easily. The earlier two engines are mechanical so very easy to sort and parts are cheap. Expect 20mpg. 25 maybe from the td5. Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  13. Looks pretty clean to me. Suppose it shows that using the higher quality oil does a better job! Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  14. Spud did you clean that cylinder or is that how clean it was? Ill reply to your pm now. Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  15. Can you not use the drawbar and where the hole is just fit a towball? Looks like it may be a bit low once hooked up though. Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  16. I hope he didn't suffer from tunnel vision for too long! Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  17. I've won jobs on attitude before. If your any good the price isn't the most important thing! It's an important factor surely but If you can make the customer confident they are getting good value for money then there is a better chance of winning the job. Don't like trying to beat quotes as you may miss something and then you may try and rush the job to get another done in the day to make a bit more. Then you break something and ruin it all! 18. I have a big log pile of varying sizes that could do with cutting up if everyone wants to bring their saws and have a play Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App

    what 4x4

Depends on the engine! If they have already gone bang then they get fixed and are generally good trucks. My d22 has already had its engine done. Something's not right as its lacking all its power but is a good hard worker. The last of the proper 'work' pickups from nissan! Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  20. I've had good results with these http://bit.ly/1b06Lqk Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  21. Does that count if you stumble and put a spike in your 6 month old zermatts? Surprisingly even after standing in a stream they only seeped a bit of water in. So they are still good to me! Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  22. Bank balance? Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  23. I'd still buy a landy. But it would have a discovery 4 badge on the back instead. Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  24. I'm usually local but I'm on holiday so can't otherwise I'd have been able to help you! Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  25. Runs fine. I have a decent pc spec so a small antivirus wont slow much. Compared to the rubbish of Symantec and Mcafee its a dream. Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
