  1. Or for duck ponds
  2. Awesome
  3. Luckily its in a low use/hazard area but there's a group of willows in various states of falling apart so any failures like this will be tidied and then they can be left to their own devices to an extent. Most of them have dipped into the riverbank and supported themselves.
  4. Double hazard beam on willow
  5. Ours arrived today. Spanking new fresh built from Osterreich very pleased with build quality and all the little features on it. Impressive machine. Stuck it through some burry plane that's been down for a while and didn't sweat
  6. I've got a substantial pile I can load into a truck. Between 4-5 cube in a load cut but un split.
  7. Spiderjack is a main line device. Positioner is a great piece if kit especially if its got a swivel. Look at the petzl zillon too
  8. Put it on eBay. I did with a load of rings and ended up posting some to surrey!
  9. It's shiny and It'll make the women fancy you I think an oval biner would work better with the uniform shape. Gonna try some others on it and see. That little twist on the sentinel biner is a bit small. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  10. Next to a busy main road. Luckily set back far enough that it only crossed the footpath nearby. Need machinery to get a load of this dragged out. No chance two of us could have got the big piece down safely at 3pm on a friday!
  11. Just chillin on some broken pop
  12. If anybody recently spotted a 12" pto timberwolf chipper on eBay at a bargain price less than £4k. Avoid it! We sold the exact chipper last year to someone and the pictures are of the chipper in our yard! Funnily enough its in Scotland and pick up and viewing are not available. I'm being offered free delivery and an inspection period too! http://bit.ly/1f1SlJJ
  13. There's 7 more with similar leans. This one weighed 4t. 3 of the others are at least 6 I reckon. Some more will drop straight but the others are over phone lines and one over an oil/fuel tank and that container. Crane job to get those out
  14. Used mine for the first time today. Very smooth. Releases under load nicely and sits nice and close on the harness. I'm using it in a dmm sentinel carabiner and it found its way to the narrow bottom and jammed in a bit, so would recommend a rubber stop or a carabiner that fits all the way round. I think the 13mm rope is fine in it.
  15. Had a call to look at a poplar that had cracked last night. Was getting on a bit and had some minor decay around the base. Made it lie down. Dig a dogs tooth cut because it had a 20 degree lean and all the weight was on the lean. Didn't even get to match my cuts up! It hit the ground before I could take more than a step away. Had a pine that had dropped a poorly attached union to sort too. Some of our other team members sorted the pine while I was at the pop. Going back tomorrow to fell the pine as it's had a load of roots severed when the driveway was put in. Tree officer removed its TPO and CA exemptions as soon as he saw it. Will be a quick job as there's lots of room and a lean in the right direction!
  16. For your dmax? I find ours is a bit lacking in getting going with a fair load on. So would be interested in your results Used a tun-it chip on the Navara d40 when that was here and made it go like stink.
  17. I know I should know better than to make errors in your realm!
  18. My bad! Thought that that was a way of differentiating. Looking at lucidum I now realise I'm not right as it tends to have a pronounced stalk.
  19. fast enough to put your sawdust 50 yards away but not fast enough ill blow your mog away
  20. Beginning to get interesting here. Wind picking up and getting gusty with plenty rain on already saturated ground. Tonight may be interesting!
  21. Appear to me Ganoderma lucidum. Close match is G resinaceum however that's annual where lucidum is perennial. Causes white rot
  22. Cutting edge metal detection Lucky bugger! I've left a saw on site overnight, I put it down to tiredness why it got left. Completely hadn't realised. Was still there the next day luckily the site was away from busier areas so was quiet enough. Was gutted when i had realised!
  23. Four roses single barrel is a good one. 50%. Very sweet bourbon.
  24. I believe its a safety issue too. They don't meet standards they require. I think the very old series are ok as they come in as a classic but the later models are against regs. Its a shame, stolen ones and ringers end up out their so someone's pride and joy can be sent and crushed without them even knowing and hoping they may see it again one day. They may not expect it to be recycled and part of the fridge door!
  25. They are not legal in the US so they get crushed upon import
