  1. Very shiny, mine arrived today from Lyons. Look forward to giving it some use. Came with a 5m lanyard which is plenty.
  2. Removed this and about half a ton more wood from this place. Not clean or light. Everything was like handling greasy poles. Came home with damp feet. I was stood ankle deep for a bit though!
  3. They may have access to one, whether real or not
  4. That one may have been a different forum. Maybe mumsnet?
  5. Can't survey in the dark so came home well before then
  6. Anybody tried the combo of sweet chilli mixed with sour cream? Perfect with wedges/chips!
  7. Subbies send us an invoice with their total costs. We send them what it says on the invoice. They work out their own tax. CIS is for construction and I'm pretty sure people wouldn't be happy if you took 30% off them just like that!
  8. Stihl 362 is my mid range saw. It's brilliant. Perfect power to weight and I send it to spud who tuned it up a touch and its ace. Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  9. That's the drink fuzzing your memory Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  10. Sold Christmas trees to Johnny Vegas and Jennifer Ellison. Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  11. I drag mine around on an ifor p7. Room to stand and feed and also to put logs and stuff on as it's got half a ton payload. Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  12. Max cut approx 12". Depends on the log! Prices are just shy of 1100+vat Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  13. Re sawdust that was after a couple hours of cutting. The tractor was moved away from its cut pile so the logs weren't constantly being moved. Cut 4 cube today I reckon at final count. That's with 2 lads not really rushing. Or pushing very hard at all. The 4 way split on the posch splitter should breeze through all the material that comes off this machine. 14. There's a yellow handle on the top you squeeze and tilt the log onto the blade. The red handle is to disengage drive if you needed to stop it quickly. Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  15. Collected this from Sheffield yesterday. Had a days use today. Very good piece of kit. Lots more efficient than a saw. It's cut about 3 cube of firewood today ready for splitting which is a quarter of its value ish. Will be paid for in saved time very quickly. When the new splitter arrives we will be properly set up. 16. expressing interest here too, although haulage will be the majority of the cost for us
  17. Sex sells. It's an increasing part of the advertising culture. If it didn't work they wouldn't use it. I like the advert. Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  18. How are you getting on with the pear technology package? I've started using their software too over the last few weeks. It's a good set of kit. How do you get on with maps? Where possible I try to use cad maps with correct georeferencing but feel that any other maps just don't have the same level of detail or accuracy. Plus all the Trimble data works better with the management and mapping software. Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  19. Throw all the chainsaw tools, files spanner etc into an old army ammo box. Takes up very little room and will stand up to being bashed around Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  20. I have had open chats with my dealer about prices of other retailers and the lack of ability to compete on prices. My dealer is pretty good anyway on a majority of products. I would much rather pay slightly more for the local service which is always bang on. We have bought the odd piece of kit elsewhere where there was a substantial saving but mostly go to one guy. 21. I'm a stihl man but do like the 560. I'd get ridiculed for buying one though! Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  22. Only times I've had one come open is from not putting it on right. I've had screw caps vibrate open Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  23. I agree on that. I only started once the new caps where on most saws and my first saw had them. All my saws now bar the 660 do too and I don't have an issue. You can feel when they aren't on right for whatever reason. They are faster and more secure than Standard screw caps IMO. Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  24. But where was he hiding the knife? Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  25. We are on a fuel genie card. Handy and there is a discount. But we can only go to tesco or morrisons Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
