  1. Past hour
  2. Point taken, they do mention themselves. But I stand by my assertion that the header is sensationalist, and doesn’t fairly reflect the thrust of the statement.
  3. I always grease the nose sprockets of my saws, all my saw run aftermarket bars (Sugi/Tsumura) once the stock bar has worn. Get back to the workshop, sharpen the chains, clean air filter, blast all the crud out of the side casing/guidebar groove and grease up on reassembling, never had a nose sprocket failure in 30 years. Needle bearing probably once a week/fortnight, takes two seconds with Husqvarna no point in not doing it.
  4. Or receiving a machine that’s about a foot long.
  5. What is the most stressful job to have? Working at the Jobcentre - coz even if you get sacked you still have to go in the next day.
  6. It's basically putting pressure on Zelensky to make a deal - a third of Ukraine probably. The West wasn't prepared to shed blood over this, only give up some supplies
  7. Quite possibly, does this machine have a purge bulb? If so have you connected the pipes up in the correct orientation? remember it’s a purge so pulls fuel from the carb and dumps back to tank, not pumping fuel into the carb.
  8. Looks stunning.
  9. Hello, would anyone have a Lucas mill they'd be interested in selling? A 10-30 or an 8-30 would be perfect. Nooie
  10. Today
  11. I’ve got two Damson trees, different varieties as one is always about two weeks later so I can spread out the picking.
  12. I looked at one of these online, they have a video of it running. It looks painstakingly slow. My CS100 is significantly quicker, but lacks the feed roller and anti stress. I did request a demo, living near Carlisle, nothing came of it though and ai didn't follow up. The GL&D looks a a far better small chipper, also double the price...
  13. They are. They're at the yard but I'll get back to you on Monday about that.
  14. Missed a few days, been in a field in Heacham. This is my 1000th wordle. Wordle 1,519 4/6* 🟨⬜🟨⬜⬜ 🟨⬜⬜🟩🟩 ⬜🟩⬜🟩🟩 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
  15. I have Dewalt , it was bought for fun , if you planing to work with one hand don’t buy it , balance is very bad, plus it’s designed only for right hand,Milwaukee have similar issues, except right hand problem !
  16. Thanks to everyone for all your input- very much appreciated, and thank you to those that messaged privately, either to offer leads or contacts. Cheers!
  17. Its a wind up , godda be !
  18. I know, and they seemed surprised when I told I didn't want to go ahead. Funnily enough a friend took a still in and they did a great job by all accounts!!
  19. Yesterday
  20. its down to the humidity.
  21. Basically it can't comply to the European Normative Standard that splices are tested in accordance with. It might be a different story in other parts of the world. I'm not saying it's unsafe to climb on, it's just difficult to prove that it IS safe. Reach out to the supplier and ask if their splicer has been trained by Courant.
  22. Give them a ring and they have some good relationships with people and they can quite often arrange for you to go and see one nearish you.
  23. I’ve used Ecoplugs on side growths and suckers, and they work well if applied correctly. Drilling at the right angle into the stem and ensuring the plug sits flush is key for effective herbicide delivery. They’re cleaner and more targeted than spray treatments, especially in sensitive areas where drift or overspray could be a problem.
  24. APF 2022, Pete Bags drinking red wine through a straw. Good times.

  27. I used to plant lots of trees in Denmark but they never used to start things until early April which seems late by UK standards it's maybe because in the past they were used to long winters. Sometimes there would be stuff to do in November/ December but not as much
