  1. Joe newtons about 10 stone soaking wet, stripping a chipper down and humfing the bits up tight stairs maybe possible,i doubt it, but there are easier options. Typical fuckin arbtalk People get a hard on shit canning other peoples experiences. Look at the wee bugnots joe Im out
  2. 2 of us got a cs100 8 or 9 front steps, through a house, very tight kitchen and out a conservatory a few months ago. Had to kind of walk the wheels up the steps. Doable but straight lifting it clear of ground very hard work. That wasnt stripped down at all. They were not very tight 850mm doors either Did you read joes post? Up 8 or 9 stairs aint the same as a tight staiway in a flat. It may be possible but its not the best option imo bill
  3. Best character was Tormond and his obsession with pumpin brienne of tarth. Last season was a let down Also the knight king really deserved a better death than a 14 year old girl appearing from mid air with a dragon glass chib...
  4. Greenmech cs100 is a heavy bastard, its the smallest greenmech do and it meant for towing. Id say it would take alot of stripping to get it up stairs
  5. Those little bugnots are probably the only ones small enough to be man handled up stairs. https://youtu.be/oFM04OAlWSg
  6. Lookin healthy and well silky. Great catching up on this thread again mate
  7. Look at the viking lawnmower range. Crackin mowers with longevity. Ours is nearly 12 years old and goin well
  8. Tories get trounced in local elections. May still refuses to quit. Looks like massive gains for lib dems, greens and the independants
  9. I havent perused these pages for ages and reading through this thread i rememberd why. This started off well then decended into the usual slaggin each other off bollocks. Heres my tuppence. Im a tree surgeon I do hedges too as i need money and i have no quibbles about putting a 261 through a hedge. If i was cutting back /topping a hedge and it had an elderberry or buddleia in it, id whack it back too match the hedge height because im a bloody pedant and leaving it would do my nut in.
  10. Couldnt resist
  11. Ditch the ring. Pointless Try a couple of hitches. Michoacan, knut etc Distels lock up alot. Look at youtube for hitches. Seriously, the ring is pointless
  12. First pictute for me,simple setup. I would replace the 3way biner with a dmm quad lock biner cause ive seen triple locks open by rubbing against a branch so a 4 way lock would give me the extra peice of mind. Keep it simple
  13. Yes,but to be fair its CE marked and is rated to use with the zz. In my honest opinion i think petzl have been pretty smart on this except how it looks. Fugly!
  14. Rupe how are you a advancing the chicane on ascents? Neck tether?
  15. Wasnt aware of that...
  16. Thats the reon rounds tether. Look up reon on youtube for info on it
  17. Cheers for posting reg.
  18. Gettin all too common now. Couple of my mates have been done in last year alone. Hopin for a positive result on this for you mate
  19. No decent arb firm would send a climber out with no trained rescuer. Thats not too say it doesnt happen. Just ask any subbies you know. I done a rigging job with 1 groundie who had 3 days experience no kind of training, not even used a chainsaw. The next time i used that firm i brought in my own groundie who was at that point almost 50 and could run the ground work on his own easy.
  20. That is a very good price. Pity im skint...
  21. Oh yeah i forgot too say, crackin table mate. Sorry i just got carried away with the long name thread thing...
  22. But its not and it isnt. How can 2 climbers,1 trainee 1 experienced be interpreted as 3? 2 or maybe even 4 i could see but 3??
  23. 1 trainee climber 1 experienced climber 1+ 1= 2 Did you really ask me that when i said that in my first post?
