  1. A friend of mine has bought a MS 170 for domestic use, not what I would have chosen but he's done it so the picco micro chain blunts a bit quick, is there a better choice which will last a bit longer and is a straight swap ?
  2. Mine never needs more than 3 pulls from cold and fast idle once warm it starts every time now I've set it up.
  3. Spot on for rolling round under motors in winter if you are stuck somewhere Ventile is good for water and wind proofing but it is very expensive.
  4. Use the post reply button on the left at the bottom of the window instead of the quick reply box and it gives you a manage attachment option if you scroll down a bit. Put the photo on your computer, find it and upload it.
  5. Only thing I can say was you didn't put your Silky back in the pod while pushing the top off. That's something I would do and get told off for.
  6. Right I got the axe out the shed and the head is a bit loose, how do I check how tight it should be ?
  7. There's a cleaning firm truck parks across from our house for days on end with the ladders on the roof only held on with bungies and it always surprises me that they are still there next morning. Get some cycle locks for the next set and remember to use them and mark the ladders for identity although they can easily be painted over.
  8. He is in America talking about immigrants ? He is not a native American so he is from immigrant stock.
  9. I only have up to 16" so I don't know about big stuff but I don't like to be able to lift the drive links clear of the bar so I tension it so they are still a bit covered when I lift the chain in the centre of the top of the bar.
  10. Well I cast the entrails on the lawn but the dog got there before I could read them so it's anybody's guess. I get the winter fuel allowance this year so I hope it keeps fine and I can spend it on pop and crisps.
  11. Go to your MP, a chap I worked with had refusals to build on some land he had left him and the local MP sorted it.
  12. Video here of a six year old using a saw with some help.
  13. The ones we get now are recycling kitchens or telling me I "may" qualify for a free boiler. They use a recorded message so as soon as I hear it click in I hang up.
  14. Big bird like on Sesame street.

  19. I got one like that but it's called a Bahco S87+7 6 point metric and imperial plus a 1/4" drive set with some swivel and combination spanners in there as well. I got mine off ebay for a bargain £50 plus postage I have Kamasa sockets as well over 30 years old and only broke the ratchet. I got a Stahlwille 1/4" drive ratchet off ebay for £11 should have been about £40 and you can buy any part of it separate to repair it.

  21. It's only little, cut bits off the bottom till it reaches the fence then cut it over the fence and pull it down the other side.
