Sorry don't know . My son came home from staying with his mate in Singlton village and said the bloke next door had his van broken into and some chain saws were stolen . They got to talking and the bloke told him about saws going from Midhurst and Cocking village as well .

The far right root ( in the picture ) seems to be noticeably thicker but was not initially girdled so it seems as though ( from the only pictures I can see ) that vigor is enjoying its self ! Do you think that possibly it is a latent effect ( the result of removing the restriction ) and it take a while for the tree to " realize " and and take advantage of its new circumstances ?

No details as yet but saws stolen 2 nights ago from Midhurst , Cocking and Singleton . Close to home ! .

I have always gone to a local bearing supplier . Just take the numbers of the outer and they can usually match them up at , as you say , a good deal cheaper .

As we were finishing some guys came in to clear rubbish from a council sight we had done some felling on . We stopped to chat to them for a few mins then drove off . I had just put my 346 in the chipper and when we got home it was gone . We never stopped any were on the way back so it had to be one of them .

Thank you Maria . Definitely you and Andrews team will both have a corker of a semi . Wasps and the Chiefs have both impressed me this season and well,Sarries are Sarries ! Leicester have a new coach right at the end of the season but playing well obviously . Just hope that next year we can reach the playoffs !

Depending on the species ( of kindling wood ) I would be wary of taking anything up there thats not treated . The last thing you need is wood worm in the joists .
