  1. As you have suggested the impact wrench going the wrong way is the problem . Normally I can get a clutch off with just compression and no piston stop . The only thing I can suggest is to use the screw in type of piston stop that fits in the spark plug hole . Screw it in and gently pull the saw over until the piston makes contact with it . Make sure its is hard up against the stop before you do anything . The inpact wrench might come in handy again but get it set the right way this time .
  2. Thats a good call . Wheels look good for it .
  3. I bet it was a pastie and not even cake ........
  4. Still blue sky and sun here . Slight frost at 6.00am .
  5. Its in the rules ......
  6. The inside wall of the oil tank has a location square cast into it for each of the studs . The studs have a square head and are assembled from inside the tank and pushed through to the outside . If they are of this type then you will round out the square location . They may not be though .......More common on Husqvarna .
  7. Be sure its not the type that fit from inside the oil tank and locate in square first ......
  8. That's a neat trick , quoting what's not been written yet / Any idea on the lotto numbers whilst you are at it ?
  9. I thought most of the others were positive ........
  10. Dear damage ? Squirrel damage " ? There appear to be " claw " marks at the outer edges . No bears about are there !
  11. That does not mean the land and timber is not owned .
  12. Helpful again . Knob Jockey .
  13. I caught someone taking logs of one of my stacks . I asked them what they thought they were doing ...They said " they wont mind , there is loads of it " I said ok . were abouts do you live then ? They said why ? I said well I thought I might just pop round and see whats in your fridge , maybe I could take some milk or a bit of cheese . Perhaps you got some tools in your shed I could take ....They got the message and put them back .
  14. 'I got to respectfully disagree . You don't know why Its been left . Could just be being seasoned were it lays till its convenient for the land owner to collect it . Could be being left as habitat etc etc . You have got to ask first .
  15. Age becomes totally irrelevant once you have carked it .
  16. The bit on the right is the clutch drum . This , in your case , has a " spur " sprocket attached . The more pro type saws have just a clutch drum and a separate " rim " sprocket that can float from side to side a little as its on a spline .
  17. Check the flywheel magnet to ignition unit gap first . As Spud would say a business card thickness is about right .
