  1. Like a short version of the thing they hang from helicopters .........
  2. Swimming through treacle .
  3. Found the saw . Was it the little yellow and blue sticker on the air filter cover that you recognized ?
  4. This . I am retired from full time cutting now but still have all of my saws ( except 3120 ) So have gone over to Aspen . Now I have no concerns when pulling out a saw that has not been used for 6 months and firing it strait up . I recon they run better on it anyway .
  5. Mmm . So initial problem not really the saws fault but that of the broken piston stop wouldn't you say ? .....possibly
  6. Andrew . What a game ! Just watched it . Jack and Thomas were looking large ! I thought Sarrys were going to do what Sarrys do and find a way to win from behind but .......... Brilliant game mate well done . Its Buzzin, V the War Drums then !
  7. I was going to suggest Aspen also but you were in first ! .
  8. I recently sold my 3120 as I just don't need it any more but on the odd occasion I did it never let me down . What probs did you have with yours .?
  9. 395 is " old school " No electronics and been around for a good many years . I love mine and would buy another if I had to .
  10. Just looked on you tube and when he took the cover off it looked the same as a Husqvarna 372XP so inboard I would say .
  11. . Just get with the program and say ...one way or the other .
  12. Its always a theoretical " trade off " But I have a Spud ported 372 that has a " high top " flock filter but it still goes like a pig down a freshly greased slide ! Ask Steve !
  13. Yes . A/T saws will compensate to a degree for partially blocked filter, as will it compensate for a small air leak . That is no excuse for ignoring basic maintenance .
  14. People call sycamore a weed but for me it is the least labour intensive fire wood going . Seasons quickly , splits a treat and burns a little better than ash but not quite as long as beech .
  15. That filter in the pic is disgusting , even got a bit of conifer growing in it !
  16. Had this on a Jensen ans it was a crack battery lead . You could get under and wiggle it and it would cut in and out .
  17. Im Good Steve thanks . Same with you I hope ?
  18. Always a favorite . Mine had a faulty fuel valve .
  19. Just use top quality oil ( Husqvarna XP or Red Line etc ) Make sure the carb is always adjusted correctly and it wont over rev . Keep all the potential air leeks at bay and it should keep going for a good while yet .
  20. He say he has cleaned the carb . Any way were have been ? !!
  21. Hopefully yea . If not do I need a solicitor ?
