    My new dog.

" One of the twins " could mean one set , with the other set, ( assuming it is again only one ) there would be 4 children . Hope this helps .......
  2. Stubby

    any ideas?

Well I have to admit I did not know that . Every day is a school day as they say .
  3. Stubby

    any ideas?

    Ah . That's looking closer . Himalayan
  4. I have found the opposite , may be just in my head but my saws seem to be stronger on Aspen .
  5. Don't get chainsaw willies . THE most uncomfortable things I ever remember warring .
  6. Sounds to me like they have been bullied by the neighbour ........
  7. If that's a practice you have no worries . Stella !

    any ideas?

Well every one is going for Hedera Helix but I have looked through as many types as I can find and non have this leaf shape or form .

Leaf looks the wrong shape for ivy to me . Ivy has a maple type shape . This looks more like bamboo .

    Clutch

There has been a very musical theme to some of your technical replies lately Steve
  12. Sure its not for a T540 Husky . They have more drive links for the same size bar as a Stihl .
  13. Dont start it up again with that " old mix " in it . Make some fresh . Try just using the compression it has first to get the clutch off . Don't forget its a LH thread . Get a ring spanner on there and give it a sharp whack with a mallet . If that does not work be very careful with any type of piston stop be it hard or soft .
  14. No its a " hard nosed " bar . Old school and power sapping . Have to run the chain a bit tighter with that bad boy .

    Clutch

Well the thing is you have " assumed " its from the clutch and told us its a " zoooooom " sorta sound . I take that the clutch is not slipping when in the cut ? If not I cant see how it can be . The bearing might need a dab of grease but I doubt its that . You need to investigate a bit more .
  16. I'm elderly ......so yea
  17. I just bought a No5 copper and hide mallet to put the second sweep hand back on my Rolex .
  18. Take a non running saw ( with a functioning brake ) and with the brake off and the saw not running hold it by the back handle and drop the bar down and let the tip hit a log . The brake should activate . That is the inertia part of it . As said your wrist will contact the handle and activate it also should you get a kick back for real .
