  1. Saw that a while ago , very good instrument. Cabo San roque are also worth a deeks if your into wierd instruments
  2. Not certain but have a feeling this one will fit. Top of the list is a 6t 3/8p sprocket https://www.lsengineers.co.uk/clutch-assembly-for-stihl-ms010-ms011-petrol-chainsaws.html
  3. What's up with the 9010? Unless it's been used very heavily for a long time it stick with, possibly send it to spud for repair as your most economical. I've not used a 9010 but I think big j has and reckons theres not alot between the 7901 and 9010 so if you want a newy I'd go for that. I have the 7901 and reckon it wouldnt be too bad milling 24" stuff. Also I think makita and husky share the same bar mounts? That may effect your decision if you already have bars and chains etc.
  4. I'll be needing some pics of it with some big butts please
  5. To be fair, saws can get like that after a hard days work, especially milling
  6. That looks pretty rad. Howd you power the winch? The hoss we had didnt have a plug, just chain ratchets on the arch. Def makes me want to buy a timber arch for my cob, so much better than a drag
  7. I've done some snigging, but this was the first time I've really watched/appreciated how good a timber arch is. The drag wasnt far to where the mog was ( 150/200m?) But the horse had shifted between 15 and 20t by lunch time and it was a late start as well and not in piddly little sticks either, the crane could barely lift them. Really makes alot less mess to lift one end of the timber up whilst its dragged. Very impressed. The horse does live literally next door to cemetery as well, so zero transport costs. Thanks again matty for getting that beech down double fast. Pic of tree at beginning :
  8. It doesnt seem to work on the app, possibly just the website. I've blocked a few pen15' but it still see their posts on the app.
  9. Looks smart. Pleased you've given it more loving than I would have!
  10. This. Since I got my 150 the proper toppers rarely come out to play, I could defs make do with 150 or 2511 and a 50cc 15" if I had to and it would totally suck not having a little lightweight top handle and only a 35cc topper.
  11. If your struggling pop it round happy to pull the exhaust and try and get it out of that.
  12. Very very cheap 811 horsebox https://www.gumtree.com/p/cars-vans-motorbikes/mercedes-horse-box/1327830349
  13. Ah the endless quest for the vehicle that ticks all the boxes! Good luck hope you find something. Obvs keep updates rolling.
  14. Aye seen that. Low miles to. Buts it's the fancy pants common rail engine in it, which I'm sure is fine just not as proper bomb proof. Is your 811 not doing it for you? Why you thinking if a change?
  15. You in your 811 or another one? Just seen thissun https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F113624437747
  16. Aye, wonder what the reserve is. Be like a palace. I definitely found my 8.5m long 811 a pita when travelling with it , dont know whether you'd plan on travelling with it? I saw a similar looking 4x4 18t merc with expedition camper in Glasgow go for silly cheap a few years ago. Probably missed a trick there.
  17. Aye nice vid. Rigging look nice and smooth. Slightly relieved to hear it was a 2 day job, was thinking surely the days arent long enough to rig along that in day. Thanks for posting!
  18. Thanks eggs, I'll get some more tomorrow. Got most of the back boarded out today.
  19. Like driving on ice the rest of the time. Also the beads got knackered on mine pretty fast. I'd get a decent not remould tyre personally.
  20. Might not be you might just be the app
  21. Getting on with the back wall. Making lap joints (ship lap?) From some Douglas with an excellent planr jig. Wouldnt really want to do a house full of it this way but works ok.
  22. Cant see that pic on the app or website on my phone
  23. I'd looking at this https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F273702083346 Or a nice old dc landcruiser with option to convert to pickup back. Only done 3,600 miles https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F163513369987
  24. Totally depends on the mot station. Sometimes they flag things like surface rust up as corrosion and sometimes it's on its knees. Really you just need to have a good look under it with a torch. I've seen some trucks on the road with an mot which are so rotten it's a wonder the body is still on
