  1. I chipper has just done 7 loads of chip no bother. Went to investigate on Sunday, but error code not there any more.....mmmm
  2. Dont know anything about the event tbh. Obviously from that footage its looks pretty radge, but there were also some snippets of people that had be thinning each other sort helping each other back up and smiling. Obviously if your there and involved your pretty game for it, not just totally pissed and beating the crap out some unlucky passer by. God knows skyhuck, obviously it's pretty violent and I would bother attending, but dont really have an objection if people really like doing that to each other. Not into the property damage though
  3. Know what you mean skyhuck. I'm far too much of a Walter softie to enjoy such antics. Agree with mick though, hope they are able to continue to do it! Much rather see this sort of activity than standard bar fights etc
  4. Paired with husky 365 is a good option, especially for larger stuff. Nowt wrong with yer soft woods, just season them well, as per all wood you'll burn.
  5. Ok will try all that tomorrow. Thankyou so much! Quality Saturday service!
  6. Book yourself on a climbing course or pay a subbie climber for a day to take you for a decent days climbing, you'll soon know if you want to do more! Know a few folk who really liked the look of it, and had a horrible time on the cause hating every minute up the tree. But having a minimum of aerial rescue ticket and basic chainsaw ticket will make you more useful to others.
  7. I've done a far bit of beech and oak with 48" (42" cut) on a 66 and thinks its similar power output. Reckon you'll be fine, but if you were going to be doing weeks of it bigger saw would be the shizzle
  8. You might what a few pauses in cutting with the chain running, just to make sure it's all getting enough bar oil
  9. 660 is a fine on a 48'' lopro, so suspect a 390 will be fine on that.
  10. Go meteor. They are decent aftermarket, made it Italy
  11. Not yet sorted. Just had a double check and it's just saying oil pressure now. Plenty oil in it and it seems to run ok when its going
  12. Getting an intermittent fault saying oil pressure/ alternator fault. Mostly the chipper works well, just occasionally get that fault and it cuts out. First things to check? Remember reading something about this somewhere but cant remember where. Thanks
  13. Downer, is there an old place to tuck away? Complaining neighbours or council?
  14. Saw that a while ago , very good instrument. Cabo San roque are also worth a deeks if your into wierd instruments
  15. Not certain but have a feeling this one will fit. Top of the list is a 6t 3/8p sprocket https://www.lsengineers.co.uk/clutch-assembly-for-stihl-ms010-ms011-petrol-chainsaws.html
  16. What's up with the 9010? Unless it's been used very heavily for a long time it stick with, possibly send it to spud for repair as your most economical. I've not used a 9010 but I think big j has and reckons theres not alot between the 7901 and 9010 so if you want a newy I'd go for that. I have the 7901 and reckon it wouldnt be too bad milling 24" stuff. Also I think makita and husky share the same bar mounts? That may effect your decision if you already have bars and chains etc.
  17. I'll be needing some pics of it with some big butts please
  18. To be fair, saws can get like that after a hard days work, especially milling
  19. That looks pretty rad. Howd you power the winch? The hoss we had didnt have a plug, just chain ratchets on the arch. Def makes me want to buy a timber arch for my cob, so much better than a drag
  20. I've done some snigging, but this was the first time I've really watched/appreciated how good a timber arch is. The drag wasnt far to where the mog was ( 150/200m?) But the horse had shifted between 15 and 20t by lunch time and it was a late start as well and not in piddly little sticks either, the crane could barely lift them. Really makes alot less mess to lift one end of the timber up whilst its dragged. Very impressed. The horse does live literally next door to cemetery as well, so zero transport costs. Thanks again matty for getting that beech down double fast. Pic of tree at beginning :
  21. It doesnt seem to work on the app, possibly just the website. I've blocked a few pen15' but it still see their posts on the app.
  22. Looks smart. Pleased you've given it more loving than I would have!
  23. This. Since I got my 150 the proper toppers rarely come out to play, I could defs make do with 150 or 2511 and a 50cc 15" if I had to and it would totally suck not having a little lightweight top handle and only a 35cc topper.
  24. If your struggling pop it round happy to pull the exhaust and try and get it out of that.
