  1. For that sort of money I would be looking at a decent bridge camera. SLR bodies are the cheap bit, decent lenses will far outweigh the cost of the body, generally the wider focal range an slr lens covers then the image quality suffers, you then end up with a bag full of expensive glass. There are some very nice Bridge cameras out there now, that are really quite capable. It also depends on what you want to shoot, one of the best macro photographers I know done a lot of his work with a cheap bridge camera.
  2. Yes it's a weird problem, a lot of bikes don't have it, and it appears it has a bit to do with riding style, if you are a throttle blipper it is noticeable.
  3. It's a nice bike to ride, can nip along quite well when you need to, if you have ridden bigger stuff though you will probably find you need to wring it sometimes. Sadly it is let down by not so great build quality, and similar service from triumph (not the dealer) I would suggest before you consider buying one you search on the net for "triumph speedmaster stalling" it also effects the america as they have the same lump and timing. The build quality is pretty poor, mine had 4 new exhaust cans before they finally sent one that wasn't rusty, along with several other bits. I have messed with mine now and done most of the mods to stop the stalling/stuttering issue, doing that has taken it out of warranty but tbh triumphs warranty isn't worth much, it has now made it quite a nice bike to ride, but whole thing has left a very bitter taste in my mouth towards triumph as they will not admit there is an issue and there are plenty of owners out there saying there is. When I bought it I was looking at a new harley fatbob and although a lot more money knowing what I do now about the stalling/stuttering issue I wish I had gone for it instead.
  4. Triumph speedmaster mainly now because I struggle to ride the others due to the riding position the others are a ducati 900sl and a ducati 851
  5. I didn't go that far up, I thought it would be busy with traffic going to the latitude festival
  6. Nice one I had a nice run out around the suffolk coast myself today, shotley, waldringfield and then felixstowe, was very windy at felixstowe.
  7. I have grabber at2 on my ranger and they have gone out of shape on the side walls (still usable) I am not overly impressed by their grip off road, especially when towing. I have BFG at's on my main landy and they are excellent, BFG mud terrains on the other landy and they are ok. I will eventually run bfg at's on all the trucks.

I have always found the air works itself out
  9. Your gvw can exceed 3500kg if using a "dual-purpose vehicles (e.g. Land Rovers) and their trailers; and you don't need an OL OL guide page 5
  10. I managed to get hold of 120 tons of granite/mixed rock chips and used that instead of stone/ shingle, looks very nice indeed and doesn't bunch up much even if I u turn with the trailer on it. Tarmac or any other hard surface would have cost a fortune to cover the area I had to do.
  11. Just me who thinks it's fugly then. The front end looks all out of proportion to me.
  12. NFU appear to be happy insuring anything landy wise. They offered to insure an 8 seat 110 conversion that was to carry school kids that no one else would touch, and for that they just wanted an engineers report, but sadly the NFU have become far too expensive. That said, Rural insurance were happy to insure my 130 with the performance mods at no extra.
  13. bare in mind you will have to extend the wiring loom, brake line and fuel lines and a 130 rear propshaft among other things. I was going to do it to my 110 hicap but decided it would be easier to sell it and buy a 130. Also bear in mind finding an insurance company may be an issue, when I was going to do mine the NFU were happy to accept it provided they had copies of the MOT
  14. Same here We put on the quote that the garden needs to be cleared by the customer before I get there, if they can't be bothered then off I go, I don't need the work that badly. I have only walked off a couple of jobs in my 35+ years though.
  15. Anywhere from 32 down to 22 depending on what you are doing with it and how heavy your right foot is
  16. Good to hear you are on the mend This is very true, I thought there were talks about men having a regular test, like women do for breast and cervical cancer, probably got put on the shelf with all the latest cuts.
  17. The man has balls, but can't help feeling it was an incredibly stupid thing to do that could have had serious consequences. Maybe I need to get a life ?
  18. There was a very nice 7.5 ton version on there for sale earlier this year but very pricey.
  19. They are going to be too heavy for me to deal with i'm afraid.
  20. how big is it ? length diameter and weight, roughly

    lawn feed ?

Personally I wouldn't use ferous sulphate or lawn sand on a lawn that has not established well and is still very young, a well watered in granular fertiliser would be my choice.
  22. That was quick I might renew mine soon, hopefully it will sell as quickly.
  23. What size ifor is it on ?, there are several sizes available Is it a double or triple extension Any extra services Has it got an up to date test. For anyone interested in one of these I would highly recommend having the stabiliser legs shortened, cost me a couple of hundred quit but cheaper in the long run than paying to have the beams straightened or renewed, and you don't have to keep worrying about bending them as they do hang quite low.
