  1. Weights are on their website, and all dimensions are in the brochure. Everything is possible, but the first thing that springs to mind is the folded width of the decent cranes will be sticking outside of your truck by a considerable amount.
  2. beware of the swann systems that maplin sells, the cameras are very poor image quality. I spent quite a bit on a four camera system with 9 channels and you can't tell registration numbers even if they are fairly close or faces, you certainly wouldn't be using them for identification purposes.
  3. http://www.cpsfuels.co.uk/
  4. Wasn't it supermarket petrol that was high in silicates and screwed up loads of cars several years back ?
  5. That is for sure. I think some places are worse than others, our local one is notorious for distorting even hard to distort stuff, a lot of local firms sent to medway now.
  6. but surely you only want to galv the main bits, so weight is going to be way under 750kg once you strip it down. Galv is definately a better option than paint imo, prep time is far less and once it's done you won't be touching it again. Failing that Zinga is good but very pricey and it must go on a sand blasted surface for good adhesion, rustoleum is another. I used some of that rust bullet paint on the landy steel bits, and didn't think much of it.
  7. I had a week off 3 years ago but I get finished quite early some days, which is nice.
  8. "Leader of the Pack" The Shangri-Las Can't stand the song
  9. Thats a handy tool for picking, nice video. we had a decent crop of all the berries this year, especially blueberries.
  10. Looks ok to me Ditch the gmail email address and get one for your domain name, on the bottom of the about page you have some odd html going on in the link, and some of your pics could do with being a bit higher resolution. I am too tired and been in the garden with some beers to go through all of it You have some weird stuff going on with your sticky menu, the original menu and the sticky menu shows when you are scrolling down and you scroll back up the page
  11. The AT's always amaze me how well they grip, I have never had a problem getting off the fields towing the crane trailer loaded, I wouldn't bother with muds again. If anyone is interested in buying or swapping a set of 33 12.5 r15, 3 are bfg mt's and 2 are cooper discovers for a swap with 265/75/16 give me a shout. They are too loud for me.
  12. Need a much closer picture than those to tell what it is.
  13. having a few pints of homebrew and watching paint your wagon
  14. phenolic ply, strong stuff and hard wearing but quite pricey
  15. I use UK fuels and bwoc cards and use whichever is cheaper that week Not a huge saving but generally a few pence a litre or more sometimes as I refuse to use supermarket fuels
  16. Where was that ?
  17. I take my hat off to her, she wrote something that was hugely liked and she still makes a fortune from it. On the subject of giving it away Edit: personally I thought the whole harry potter thing was crap
  18. I was reading this story earlier. I think Steve has hit the nail on the head, it appears she has upset her neighbours because she has the money to do what she wants. Her tree houses are something else and good luck to her.
  19. That mill has been on there lots of times, it's a fake.
  20. For that sort of money I would be looking at a decent bridge camera. SLR bodies are the cheap bit, decent lenses will far outweigh the cost of the body, generally the wider focal range an slr lens covers then the image quality suffers, you then end up with a bag full of expensive glass. There are some very nice Bridge cameras out there now, that are really quite capable. It also depends on what you want to shoot, one of the best macro photographers I know done a lot of his work with a cheap bridge camera.
  21. Yes it's a weird problem, a lot of bikes don't have it, and it appears it has a bit to do with riding style, if you are a throttle blipper it is noticeable.
  22. It's a nice bike to ride, can nip along quite well when you need to, if you have ridden bigger stuff though you will probably find you need to wring it sometimes. Sadly it is let down by not so great build quality, and similar service from triumph (not the dealer) I would suggest before you consider buying one you search on the net for "triumph speedmaster stalling" it also effects the america as they have the same lump and timing. The build quality is pretty poor, mine had 4 new exhaust cans before they finally sent one that wasn't rusty, along with several other bits. I have messed with mine now and done most of the mods to stop the stalling/stuttering issue, doing that has taken it out of warranty but tbh triumphs warranty isn't worth much, it has now made it quite a nice bike to ride, but whole thing has left a very bitter taste in my mouth towards triumph as they will not admit there is an issue and there are plenty of owners out there saying there is. When I bought it I was looking at a new harley fatbob and although a lot more money knowing what I do now about the stalling/stuttering issue I wish I had gone for it instead.
  23. Triumph speedmaster mainly now because I struggle to ride the others due to the riding position the others are a ducati 900sl and a ducati 851
  24. I didn't go that far up, I thought it would be busy with traffic going to the latitude festival
  25. Nice one I had a nice run out around the suffolk coast myself today, shotley, waldringfield and then felixstowe, was very windy at felixstowe.
