  1. Are you talking about the latest model ranger ? I have an 09 plate ranger and it couldn't pull the skin off a rice pudding, it's OK once it's rolling but getting it rolling is the problem. I have two landies, a 110 hicap and a 130, they both pull my crane trailer without any problems, the Ranger struggles like mad with it. I understand the new model is better for towing, but isn't there something about if it's towing it's full capacity then you can't load the truck up fully ?
  2. Surprised you didn't try to bump start it
  3. Last Ferodo kit I had didn't have them either
  4. For me mainly when I click today's posts link, but think it has done it some other pages as well but can't remember which
  5. Well why not tell everyone ?
  6. When we had mice in the loft I put lots of bait bags down, only to find the little buggers were completely immune to the stuff and were happily feasting on it and growing in numbers, so had to go for some stupidly expensive poison that sorted them out in no time.
  7. I had this when my 130 was rebuilt, we tried differing types of pads on front and rear and it still didn't help any, I wasn't going to change the discs as the ones on it were virtually new anyway, I put up with it for just over a year and then it just stopped and has never done it since, I did notice that if it started squealing if I quickly took my foot off the pedal than reapplied it the squeal stopped. Just make sure they have the anti squeal plates fitted, I have never had a set of pads that contain the plates and it appears they only come in the genuine landy pad box, if they have worn out someone may have not bothered fitting them.
  8. I just checked that and can't find them taking a higher load than bfg's in fact in some sizes it is less, there are 2 load rated versions of the BFG Hankook BFG Unless I am missing something ?
  9. Whatever the girlfriend has finished cleaning the toilet with
  10. Sadly this is bollox, we have a faulty business line and we are coming up to eight weeks and still hasn't been sorted, and business lines are supposed to be a priority. They are a bloody disgrace. They may tell you it's 24 hours, but they sort it when Openreach get there, if it's an easy fix then it can be quick, but if it requires equipment not on the vans it a whole different ball game. Eggs has the best idea.
  11. Our account at britcar has the note attached "Do not send them britpart parts" That said I linked to that as it is an OEM part although I debate that some times with britpart.
  12. Although it could still vent through the smaller pipe, wouldn't fuel get the other side of the valve via that smaller pipe ? It's a problem I have, and derv runs over the mudflaps, and can never fill right up.
  13. Surely that will stop the tank from venting ?
  14. or By the actions of the tree owner, hasn't the neighbor lost enjoyment of their land by not being able to do what they want ?
  15. Like I say I would like to see some case law on this
  16. I fail to see how the neighbor could not be allowed to do as they wish on their own property. Surely the argument could be the hedge owner should not allow the hedge to encroach on another persons land ? I would be interested to see any court cases on something on this.
  17. where exactly ? What type of ifor ?
  18. I am pretty speechless
  19. It's a bloody horrible way for an animal to die. I could say what I would like to do to them for doing it, but instead I just hang my head in despair.
  20. Make sure you document everything.
  21. Has it been in before about it ? If it has you can probably return it under the sale of goods act. You would probably be better off asking a solicitor who specialises in vehicle law. If it was mine I would be looking at finding a way to return it. Edit: is none of this modern day crap tested properly anymore ?
  22. Marsland or Richards Personaly though I wouldn't touch Richards after they sent us a 130 chassis that we refused to unload off the delivery truck due to poor welding/ tidying up and dreadfull galvanising quality, that said the series chassis underneath ours was very nicely built.
  23. I have been buying my trailer tyres from here Pneus Online
  24. I have an stt on one side rear and bfg mud on the other on our hicap and have found it's always the stt that slips first.

    300 tdi

Hammer and very small chisel is normally what I use, if you cant catch it on the edge upwards try tapping it down and backwards at the front, or at the back towards the front so it slides out of the groove with a pin punch, if that makes sense ?
